Good poll but I think it's missing at least one choice or clarification. How do you define "run it up"? If we are up 35, put in reserves, and they get it up to a lead of 49 while running the ball on nearly every play, there's not much to be done. However, at that margin I'd hope for BK to play his third string and milk the clock. I don't want a ridiculous Florida-type score from last week. My answer would be "put it away early and get the game over with."

The reason they had only 9 less yards was because our yardage was limited by something called the end zone and uprights.

As soon as we feel that our #1s have got enough work, put in the backups but don't tone down the playcalling. We owe it to ourselves to develop our backups.

Being respectful and not running up the score doesn't get you any votes at the end of the season. I say drop as many as you can on 'em. Make them hate you, like they should. Make them fear you.

I don't know why - actually I do: golson - but I'm not sweating these type of games this year. The kid is a winner and he knows how to win. The people who bashed him last year can eat crow because he proved his true character coming back.

Would you rather see Kelly run up the score on Purdue tonight (if possible) or keep it within 3 or 4 TD's out of respect? I'm going with make that scoreboard operator work. Get Golson those Heisman stats with this tough schedule, and show the national media something.

Ha, i was just going to post something similar. For many years, we've shown sportsmanship & kept scores respectsble. With all the 60 & 70+ games lately, is it proper to make a statement of our own?

On another note, OSU is up 66-0 on Kent State right now. Shades of Florida vs. The Citadel.

 

And their mighty victors from last week just lost. I don't care if OSU wins 600-0, that can't look good.

I have never seen a fanbase so united on any topic. At the time of this post, It is 29-0 in favor of running it up. I am so happy, I might shed a tear.

 

I hope we score as much as possible, I hope it is like 35-0, Zaire comes in and throws a little instead of just handing the ball off or running a zone read. Zaire needs game experience and you dont get the full experience if you do not throw...
