The skunkbears' official apologist was in full denial on Game Day this morning. After an interview done with Golson that was positive on how he did all the right things after his embarrassing episode and how awesome he has looked in the first two weeks, dumb old desmond shot it all down saying how he would have liked a year off to stay in beautiful San Diego and work out all year without worrying about classes and exams, so why even talk about it and him!

Thankfully, Herbie came to the rescue and set him straight and then went on to trash the current situation in the Big Ten as a bunch of losers

Dumb desmond brings nothing to the table and ESPN needs to realize that and fire his sorry a$$.:thumb:

Desmond Howard making michigan look bad since 1990. Dude doesn't get it.

I saw that segment and he about made me sick. Everyone else at the table couldn't believe he was saying those things. This just goes to show how biased he is against ND and his opinion cannot be trusted. Time for him to go!

I heard it was pretty bad. Does anyone have a link of his comments? I saw the Golson video which was good but not the reaction by Howard. ESPN really needs to do something with and Corso quickly for different reasons.

I just emailed ESPN and voiced my opinion. I encourage everyone else to do so also. It may not do any good, but then again if they get enough complaints, who knows!

Dear Desmond,

It's 31-0, sweetheart.

Deal with it,

Jackhole.

Awesome. He is a douch.

Geeeeezzzzzuuuussssss, guys.

Super sensitive are we? ESPN doesn't give a crap what you think.

Desmond not gonna get fired because you disagree with him.

People are haters. You guys do it too about other programs and players.

IGNORE THE HATE!

Where should emails be sent ?

I missed it, a link would be great. Hard To voice a complaint without knowing all of the details.

And yes, Desmond is a freakin joke. Taking shots at kids is really despicable. Especially when you have a kid that works his butt off to make things right. It's not like he is Winston or any number of less than savory collegiate athletes.

Exactly, random fans on a message board.

Not a "professional" analyst.

Good for you man. Yeah I was shocked when I saw that...I couldn't believe how dirty that was. What's the email address for espn?

you guys are all overreacting.

and anyone who emails ESPN is seriously wasting their time. Not trying to be rude, but your emails are probably getting laughed and it put straight in the trash bin.

I don't agree with Desmond and what he said because as others pointed out it is a touch ignorant. Golson was kicked out of school. He would have rather been playing football last year.

But people know they will get a rise out of Irish fans. :attention:

Agree with Coaster, he was totally unprofessional. And what he was saying was just stupid...oh, any football player would want to take a year off, lose that year of eligibility so they can practice in San Diego. Just idiotic. HE's always been a homer, that's to be expected, but those comments were just plain dumb.

Although, I will say the ESPN did overdramatize the story a bit. Kudos to EG for sticking with it and taking responsibility, but it's not some tragedy.

It was bad. The guy just seemed hurt and wanted to lash out. He's always been a tool.

From that clip it looks like EG still doesn't throw with the laces.

PT- I always discourage anyone from bad mouthing any Irish player. I personally never attacked anyone from Kiel too Lynch. Not my style. I also don't like it when other posters do that. Truth is we are all semi anonymous . We are not talking to millions of people and representing a "respected" or "prestigious" sports media outlet. You can read my posts and you won't find any of them where I take personal shots or attack students from other schools. I mentioned Winston but did not call him names or point out anything other than what could be read in a newspaper .
