I noticed in the twitterless thread someone posted a tweet that says 9/5/14 a new era of Notre Dame gold will be unveiled.... Any idea what that means? Maybe under armor is going to make the pant color the same as in that picture? That would surely be better than the ugly toned down yellow we have now. They really need to do something about that.

Might be in reference to the "Pot Of Gold" mailing campaign that they used to do to recruits in past years. Maybe they are going to do that again but differently? Just a guess...

Don't think so. The student body wears The Shirt, which this year is blue. There was a sea of blue in the student section for the Rice game. Think the color is Madonna Blue, which Faust incorporated into the team's uniforms when he was coach necuase he has a great devotion to Our Lady.

What's funny is I have every "Shirt" from the inception. They are lined up on hangers in my closet in date order. The early shirts lacked imagination but had nicer colors, the newer ones are very imaginative but the chosen colors baffle me.
