I've been on here for about two years and have seen some newbies come and some old yellars go. It got me thinking what happened to some of these guys? I'll name a few who I thought were excellent contributors. Others can shine a light on what happened to them if they know, or who they thought were pretty fantastic contributors as well. Maybe, we can lure them back.

Philydomer- always had our list of recruits in order(bighead23 has done a great job of that and taking over)

Phony- always had a unique and insightful way of writing

Black irish- great at seeing the little details about the game.

Maybe the old timers can add more to who used to be here and why they were great for the site.

Ziggy was very good. He used to provide lots of recruiting info in the day, kind of like Big does now.

That's what I remember about Ziggy. I've said it before though that IrishCalves reeled me into this board. That guy was a good writer who knew his stuff.

The girls were great, I wish they would join back in. So many old members mentioned, so many greats ! I wish my younger brother Weisforpres would come back. I joined a couple months after he did. Thanks bro for telling me to join!! I will try to get him in here..

I know one of those members mentioned in the original post just recently married so his posting has been greatly reduced for understandable reasons. Or maybe he's running another hundred mile'er?

 

I haven't seen Fanatic on here for awhile either. It's probably just life in general. Some of us have kiddos and they have sports and endless practices. Others simply don't want to come here and read some of the recent polemical diatribe between a certain invasive faction.

 

Whatever the case may be, it's all a big cycle and will come back around. Maybe with some new faces, hopefully with some familiar ones.
