Just saw the story:

I know we criticize players for bad behavior/decisions especially from other teams. This was awesome on Shaw's part, and his attitude about it was spot on! Great job young man!

Probably the first time I've ever cheered for a Trojan...this dude will get a standing ovation from me when we play them this year.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Stuff like this should be the lead story all over the place.

Wow! Just saw this...

Cool stuff...happy both will be OK.

The skeptical side of me says he was drunk and fell from the balcony and made the whole thing up.

USC football coach Steve Sarkisian said the school has received several calls questioning the authenticity of Josh Shaw's story about saving his nephew from potentially drowning and is investigating the matter.

Moral of the story -- never trust a Trojan -- human or otherwise!

I see what you did there, Jersey. ;)

Even if it's a hoax, I'm not sure we ND fans can have a field day. Lenae has put us in a glass house for a loooong time.

If he was running from the cops, and hurt both of his ankles after jumping, wouldn't the cops have caught him and arrested him?
