I would add the Sept 20 game between UC and Miami of OH.

Being a Chuck Martin fan and a fan of the 5th year ND transfers, I will watch all of their games that I can find.

I'm looking forward to watching Andrew Hendrix playing quarterback. Of course, the game will be on mute while I bump the Benny Hill theme song in the background...

Yakity Saks...... Fits him to T

Nice Pirety but I would include all of the Notre Dame games. I, for one, wouldn't miss one.

haha, I think that was implied. :p

Well, those are a given :)

It's an in progress list, which I'll update as rankings change and game times/networks are announced.

I'll start putting together an actual viewing schedule based on the key info before each week. For example.

YOUR WEEK ONE SATURDAY!

12:00 PM No. 5 Ohio State at Navy - CBS Sports Network

Your chance to cheer on Navy as they take on the Braxton-less Buckeyes. If you don't get CBS SN, flip on over to ESPN2 and see if App State can do it again against Michigan

3:30 PM Rice at No. 17 Notre Dame - NBC

Your first look at the refined stylings of Everett Golson.

5:30 PM No. 16 Clemson at No. 12 Georgia - ESPN

Pick this gem of the first week up in the second quarter. Both schools look to replace their most prolific QBs in modern history and are looking to justify their lofty ranking(IE Over-Rated! ::ClapClap ClapClapClap:
:)

9:00 PM No. 14 Wisconsin vs. No. 13 LSU - ESPN

I put this over FSU/Okie State because I have a man crush on Badgers RB Melvin Gordon. This is going to be one of the PREMIER trench fight games of the whole season.

Great idea for a week by week thread, sir.. Well played.

P.s. I expect you to throw in some obscure games with crazy stats, not just ranked vs ranked. Trust me, you're the man for the job.

Thanks for laying out the big games each week.

Interesting in that if ND wins big week 1 and wins at all week 2, they'll probably be ranked about #10 going into week 3. There are a lot of teams ranked above ND that play each other in the first two weeks.

Add Boise State vs #18 Ole Miss in Atlanta. I think that is gonna be a great game. It's next Thursday.

Those 10pm late night games with Case Keenam and his Houston team used to be a favorite of mine. I'm going to have to be real creative with week 3 and 4, so watch out for those weeks... Look out for the week 4 game with Indiana v. Mizzou. We could be talking about some top 10 offenses(#9 and #16 respectively last year)

YOUR WEEK TWO SATURDAY!

12:00 PM No. 4 Oklahoma at Tulsa - ABC/ESPN

This noon slate...woof. The only matchup between power conference schools is #20KSU and Iowa State...a team that lost to North Dakota State 34-14...

3:30 PM No. 14 USC at No. 13 Stanford - ABC

An absolute no-brainer. USC looked phenomenal last week and are getting mucho love(ranked 5th in ESPN's FPI ranking) I have doubts about Stanford after losing so many key players. This will tell us a lot about both schools.

6:30 PM No. 7 Michigan State at No. 3 Oregon - FOX

Ah...perhaps the best OOC between power conference schools of the entire season. On a neutral field, I think Sparty wins this one. I'm not sure how the Spartan's will do with the travel and Autzen...I think they are a better version of Stanford and Stanford has handled Oregon the last two years. You'll get to pick up maybe a quarter and a half before...

7:30 PM Michigan at No. 16 Notre Dame - NBC

Saw the high is 97 for the MSU - Ore game.

I'll take that MSU/Oregon bet, Piratey.

97 points? Sparty loses by 20+ if it goes that high...

I'd take the under on 97...I think this game will be a 31-28, 28-24 kind of affair... Sparty will slow the game down with Langford.

As far as who I pick for the game...shoot. It's a toss up. I think the world of Pat Narduzzi, Sparty's DCord. But at Autzen...Mariota... If it was a night game, it'd be a done deal for Oregon. Sooo....flip a coin!
