Yeah, I got that alert too. It's too bad, but since it happened this early hopefully he'll have a quick recovery and still get to play.

4-6 weeks is not as bad as I originally thought. When you see a guy on crunches, you always think the worst. He will only miss about 3 games. It could have been a lot worse. Hopefully he comes back 100%.

Yeah but that a lot of practice and reps missed. with so many good wideouts this set back may never allow him to break into the rotation.

Tough break.

I'd doubt he ever plays. Some guys are just wound tight. Sounds like he should take up baseball where you don't get hit. Probably didn't even get hit when it happened. Sad Bc he is a player.

Exactly, did he ever get hurt in high school?

Pretty harsh things to say. Everything we heard prior to this was great things about how he was playing.

Very harsh things to say. He had a great high school career. He will be back and will play.

How is that harsh? The guy was hurt before he even got to campus. He has been hurt every year. Chiro didn't say anything about his talent, just that he is injury prone and due to that may never actually get a chance to play.

We all know he is a stud but the poor guy keeps getting hurt! I really hope that was the last injury he has

He has not even been here for two years yet. He had a serious injury in high school. It happens, then got a tweak, he could very easily play majority of the games this year. It is not only harsh, but jumping the gun a little too quickly.

I believe he had a very healthy and successful high school career. The broken femur was a freak accident. His dad is a long term major league athlete. I just don't believe we should write him off. I expect big things in the future.

As it stood he was pretty low on the depth chart if I recall correctly. I remember him being listed as a 3rd string slot. If everyone stays healthy I can't see him being a huge factor this year. What sucks is he's just missing so much time in the evaluation periods. Once the season starts they've pretty much selected who they are gonna play.

BTW, what is his injury?

Technically, got hurt in the All American game, so not high school. Just, some crappy luck.

he was still in high school... but yes, it was crappy luck.

Wish him a speedy, full recovery. Would love to see what Hunter can do this year. We are loaded at receiver.
