That's TOO MUCH POSITIVE NEWS Big Head.....;) .

We need to hear more about depth problems sluggishness and rust----that's what makes us perk up!

Who cares bud?

He can name-drop all he wants... not my style but potentially an interesting story behind it, at least more interesting that most of the things we write on here.

I never understand the msg board hate

Because last year we were told we can't comment on play calling because he sat in with the coaching staff for film study and unless you sat with the coaches during film study you aren't allowed to have an opinion....

Did he sit in with the coaches for film study? Did he get a one on one session with "Peter" Lafleur? Doubt it.

Name dropping Lafleur to attempt to make yourself seem cooler and not douchey?

Brent and Hunter look explosive in that drill, hard to imagine those guys are third string. Talk about depth.

Justin Brent is going to be a monster. Kid is already the most physically imposing WR on the team.

If Kizer can throw, he has the body and size to be a force in a few years.

Haha I know. I will say though that this year it seems to me the freshman class came in physically ready. Moreso than years past from reports. Maybe not all but at least 10 guys sound really solid. Now lets see who can take it mentally.

" In 33 years of covering ND football , I have never seen the offensive lineman, collectively, in better condition physically then his group. You are NOT going to find a pair of freshman offensive lineman that look better in a football uniform then Quenton Nelson and Alex Bars"

EG with all that speed and talent in the skill positons operating on our new turf behind these MONSTERS----

WATCH OUT!

Hahaha...he lives the fantasy life of an 8 year. Sitting on on his favorite team's meetings, playing catch with coaches; are we sure this isnt one of those make a wish foundation things?

#13 is Luatua, haha he's HUGE

Brent looks like a talent for sure... I said on another thread that I thought he'd redshirt... but I'm not so sure...

WR is such a talented group... man... the depth on the offensive side of the ball is insane!

That is usually not a decision that he would make alone. My "guess" is that Jack made the decision.

sorry, scotty. i had edited the post but the old ipad lost reception on train and it didnt go through.

he said to just move my hand bakc and only have the pinkie on the laces. but it felt so weird to how i had always thrown.

only brought him up because i found it curious thinking he might teach to use laces and BK doensnt care? he is also the QB coach of the Notre Dame football team and golson wasnt using laces. it wasnt name dropping. couldnt have said "just some guy."

had read where malzahn had cam newton not use laces as well.

maybe the change in the ball being very grippy compared to the past changes things?

as i advised in my PM to you, just put me on ignore man. piratey has me on ignore but he never can stop talking about me. it is all a bit ridiculous we cant just get along here, gents. we can all do better.

Whitfield thought that he had broke Golson`s habit of throwing without using the laces. LaFleur commented on it too.

To beat a fast blitz up the middle most QBs will throw the ball to get rid of it without taking the split second to get hold of the laces.

I think it was just a mistake.
