Does he love us with every fiber of his being?

Will he spread his grandfather's ashes on campus?

Is this his dream job?

If the answer to all these is "no"....we'll take him!!

Can't wait until he commits and then flips to another school!

Could not have said it better myself, LOL

So far he has committed to Alabama...then Arizona...why not say Notre Dame next...before joining his brother (asst coach) at LSU

Even if he doesn't sign with ND, I hope this makes posters realize ND isn't the only one who gets hit with de-commits. I don't think you should ever count on a kid who commits before his junior season. There's way too many things that can happen, and it'a all added to the fact 17/18 year olds are fickle in nature to begin with.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get a top player in the class of '16 to "commit" to ND, it improves the odds of signing him, but I would never, ever, count on him to follow through. It's easy for us as fans to be stunned as to why he wouldn't sign with ND, but not every kid who signs with ND, or every kid who considers ND, grew up dying to play for ND. I think Louis Nix hated ND growing up, Cam McDaniel grew up rooting for Texas and on the flip side didn't McCaron and his brother grow up ND fans? The decision of where kids sign is very rarely based on who they rooted for growing up.

Talented kid, but I think he ends up at LSU. We have a shot, but LSU is definitely the favorite. I think we have a better shot with two better QBs: Henry (my #1) and Pass.

Read this morning that his brother was hired at LSU as 'Offensive Quality Control'. I didn't even know that there was such a position in CFB...

I get kids are fickle, but two de-commits before your Jr. year even starts? Yikes.

If you have a family member that can play, you'll be surprised how many different jobs there are within a football program.

Reminds me of Chris Wells recruitment at Ohio St. Butch Reynolds was one of his mentors who mysteriously found himself on the Ohio St. coaching staff right about the time or slightly before Wells committed.

Ed Manning was a pro player and a youth coach but suddenly was a sought after assistant coach when Danny became a future pro.

Just saying...

Do you think that they got Offensive Quality Control AND a QB as a package deal?

On the other hand, coaching a Son or brother is always tough.

"Offensive Quality Control" sounds like a Monday Morning Quarterback to me...I think there are a people on football message boards across the web that could excel in that position.
