Just saw ND-Navy is an 8 PM kickoff on CBS.

There could be 7 night games depending on how the away games shake out.

That sort of sucks for me, but in general as well. Something about a 2:30 kickoff and a night game bring a novelty.

Night Games, if the teams are appealing, tend to be in a better time slot and draw bigger audiences.

I would expect ratings are driving this. We look good at night anyhow so I have no objections.

aloha's

many of our "away" games tend to be night games anyway.

I was wondering if this Navy game would go 1 p.m. or 3:30, but that isn't a HUGE weekend for night games anyway that weekend I don't believe.

I kind of wanted it to be a day game seeing as it is Nov. 1. Hopefully it stays warm. was nice in 2011.

I really like night games and I know in high school, playing under the lights was always WAY more exciting than playing when it was still light out.

However, from a fans perspective, it sucks having to wait that extra 5 or 6 hours for the game to start.

Maybe they'll kick on the lights tonight on that new field and we can get a preview.. 8-)

yeah night games are fun to watch but I hate having to wait all day for the game to start.

It's the worst. It gets in the way of playoff baseball(something you Yankee and Cubs fans have nothing to worry about) it competes against other games I really wanna see(For example, UofM/ND is matched against MSU/Oregon)

The one saving grace about having potentially every away game as a night game this season...IS BRENT MUSHMOUTH IS GONE! NO MORE MUSBURGER!

There's still such a thing as professional baseball?

That's a good point, there are probably going 10+ night games between now and January 2016 :-P

Yeah, I have to be up at 3 AM every Sunday for work. Night games are my nemesis.

Agree about night games during my playing days. HS was more fun at night than my college days during the day.

I work an extra job every Saturday from 11am-3pm, so the later starts work good for me. I don't have TiVo and usually walk into the game mid second quarter and miss quite a bit.

So you're saying we are going to be playing in back-to-back Championship games?? ;)

There are games all day long. We always start our parties just before noon and go till into the night anyway. It's just saving the best (wine) for last.

I know. cory let us know in the OP.

I had been wondering prior to it being announced last week.

I hate waiting nervously all day but it's nice being able to watch all the day games more attentively and rooting against everybody.
