a Notre Dame fan this morning. I couldn't watch the first half so my brother was calling me with updates on the cell-phone. He kept saying "they just don't look like the same team" ND, for at least one week, has shut a bunch of people up. From what I can tell it looks like everybody just played better. Walker had 100 yards. Good but not great. Quinn was 18-27 for 223. Again, good but not earth shattering. To me that is the most promising developement. They did what they did without anybody playing the game of their life. Everybody just played a little better and the entire team looked completely different. I guess that is the beaty of Weis and his gameplan. They didn't re-invent the wheel. They just played better. Bring on Michigan!!

If Weis would have played Walker to his ability, he would have gone 200+.

Also, Weis opted not to run up the score during garbage time. Some of the more unscrupulous coaches out there would have carelessly left their starters out there all game and risk getting injured. Our starters put the game away, and our backups got some great playing time. Beautiful game, simply beautiful!
