I was shocked to hear Kirk say 12, but I expected Coach Holtz to predict alot of wins, lol. Sound like his final prediction will be for ND to win the NC. Its gonna be a great year for th team and school as a whole !!!!!

I think Miami in the NC game is way off. While the ACC is not the SEC, I still think that looking at Miami's performance last year, an entirely new staff, and trying to run through that conference, it is just too tough for Miami to make it.

Um vs ND for the NC is the best matchup i could ever dream of. if it ever happens i dont care where it is, im begging and pushing to be there all the way.

Miami losing University of Notre Dame would be a great NC game! Of course, i would buy Miami plebes an Ice Cold Irish Victory Wexford! Where's the Mexican to chime in when I need him?

the ville and fsu are the two most likely knockoff games, but you have to look at stunble games, too...clemson, gtech, nc state vtech...i don't know how many they actually play, but these are stumble games in the ACC...even BC or UVA. look at the big east or pac-10...not near as many stumbles. big east...maybe usf like last year. pac-10 has a lil more parity this year, but normally you are looking at usc maybe losing to cal or asu. I see stanford on the rise this year...doubtfully ucla and maybe arizona, but these two conferences aren't nearly as equal as the acc...and the acc not as closely equivalent as the SEC or Big 11. 50 bucks with anybody that miami doesn't make it to the NC.

I really wonder about the logic of those guys on gameday...excluding Herbstreit because he is the only intelligent one on the show. Corso picks Cal and WVU??? No way in hell Cal beats SC. and Mark May....well I don't think I need to prove that he's a dumba$$. And Herbie, although he's an OSU guy picks ND and Miami?....how's that for a non biased opinion.

Herbie's one of the best...and I'm not just saying that because he thinks ND will do well. He's intelligent in the reasoning for his picks every week and makes Corso look senile in comparison. I know UMiami would be fun, but my dream game would be re-match against tOSU
