Another site is mgoblue or something of that ilk and they were melting down as well. It's nice to see the shoe on the other foot.

On the other hand, it ticks me off that if our defense had played even half as well the first month of the season as they did last year, we would probably be sitting undefeated. ScUM and OU were both beatable if the defense had showed up from the start, even with Rees' miscues.

Last year we gave up 12.8 PPG and that helped cover up some offensive deficiencies. This year, we're giving up 25.5 PPG and that means the offense has no room for error.

It's not as though EG was without his warts but we had the steady if unspectacular Rees to fall back on. We know TR has his warts but we have no proven fall back option behind him this year and that's coming from someone who has called for that unproven opton at times. It's a shame that Kiel bailed. He probably would have seen time in a relief role if nothing else and who knows, he may have ended up competing for the starting job next spring.

I'm glad scUM fans are POed but dang, it's kind of frustrating to see another team be the one to tick them off.

I watched Texas do to Oklahoma what we should have done on defense. They had a middle linebacker go after the man in motion and blow him up. OU didn't try all those swing passes because they simply would not work. But they did them all day long against our stationary defense. Imagine Jaylon Smith going after the man in mostion. Belldozer can't throw downfield. We would have won so easily. I also wanted to kick off and give him a long field and a hostile environment. When he took the field he had no pressure, up by 7 and the ball on our 20. We gave them the game.

We got Devin Gardner's aberration game. Just like we always got Denard Robinson's aberration game. I suppose that doesn't change how frustrating that is. :(

I swear, Michigan QBs have break out games against us. Even that loser had a good game 4 years ago: Tate Forcier...

Denard had 3 break out games. 2 of the normal good breakout games, and 1 breakout that went the opposite way.

Weird huh? I wonder if maybe the tides have much to do with this as coaching...

Quick someone give me their signs so we can rack out horoscopes....

It isn't an aberration its just that Diaco doesnt plan well against running qbs.

Diaco wasn't there for the Tater Tot game in '09.

Some deal was made with Satan in 2007, when Ryan Mallet threw 3 TD's on just 7 passes en-route to a 38-0 drumming...

Before 2007, first time starting Michigan QBs:

Chad Henne, 2004, Notre Dame 28, Michigan 20

John Navarre, 2002 Notre Dame 25, Michigan 23

Tom Brady, 1998 Notre Dame 36, Michigan 20

Brian Griese, 1997 Michigan 21, Notre Dame 14

Todd Collins, 1993 Notre Dame 27, Michigan 23

Michael Taylor, 1988 Notre Dame 19, Michigan 17

We went 5-1 against First time starters from 1988-2006. Since then? 0-4
