I know when you play football, sometimes you don't play as well as you can or should, and making mistakes hurts. So I guess "good" teams don't make as many mistakes on a consistent basis.

 

Regardless, we should always want our opponents ton win when they are not playing us.

We have NOT shown to be a strong team so far this season--that CANNOT be argued by anyone that has actually watched our play with any OBJECTIVITY!---I assume even Coach Kelly and the players would freely admit that.

 

 

That said---we do have many talented players and we clearly played better DEFENSIVELY in our last outing---(defense was suppose to be the heart of the team as offensive struggles were predictable)----

 

If the defense finally GELS and the OLINE can offer some creases for the running backs we still have a CHANCE to have some strong games before its all over.----

 

We may not be a BCS team but we clearly should have shown better through the first 6 games with the players we have---WE STILL CAN BE MUCH BETTER then we have looked if we can ADD STRONG DEFENSE & A RUNNING game to our talented recievers and good pass protection----

 

We get 62% from REES with an EMERGING DEFENSE AND SOME RUNNING we can be a tough team STILL!

I think ND is the equivalent to Texas. A load of talent with a crap QB and A Denfense that is highly talented but underacheived the beginning of the season.
