OklahomaIrish
There are Irish fans everywhere. Longhorn steers and the Notre Dame marching band in downtown Ft. Worth. Timmy Brown, Reggie Brooks and someone for the 73 national champs were speakers. The weather is awesome but maybe a bit warm. Such a great enviornment. Got me a ticket for half price and I will get to be inside Jerry's House for the first time. Hope we can pull this off, but I'm not confident. Daughter and the band are at the Renaissance Hotel. Very classy, but I just squashed the biggest darn cockroach I've ever seen!!! Go Irish. OH. All the band members got cowboy hats. As they were marching downtown a band member lost his hat. I jumped into the middle of the band, grabbed it, then ran him down and put it on his head. :biggrin1:
irishrb
Sounds like fun Okie. I still think the Irish come to play tomorrow. Either that or it's a redo of Bob Davie's Oregon State game. Let's see what this coaching staff is made of!

Kelly Gruene
Did the team look excited? Team was not there. No coaches either. But a nice event overall.
chirodomer
I think we will win tomorrow but it will be a squeaker. Bryant is done for season so I'd like to See them burn Malik's red shirt.

Kelly already said that Malik is redshirting this year barring injuries.

He just got cleared to practice after coming off mono. I can't imagine his level of fitness is anywhere close to where it would need to be to play at this point. Irish_Convert
Have a great time OklahomaIrish. Make some noise! If Zaire does see any action, it probably won't happen until after USC. Based on how the QB situation looks to be shaping up next year(EG?, AH? MZ, DK, LM), I hope he does get some PT in.
Kelly Gruene
AT&T Stadium is cavernous. People become distracted by the giant screen. It can be kind of quiet in there. If you're going to the game, yell early, yell often. Make extra effort to be loud! This is OUR condo!
OklahomaIrish
I think we will win tomorrow but it will be a squeaker. Bryant is done for season so I'd like to See them burn Malik's red shirt. BINGO!! You nailed it Chiro. What an awesome show we put on. I was blown away with the stadium and Notre Dame's presence. I almost rate this as my all time number one event to witness. It is hard to beat coming to Norman Oklahoma and beating the Sooners where everybody know me. But in so many ways, I have never seen anything like this. The Irish fans were loud and confident all day long. Even when Tommy did his mandatory pick six we came right back and scored on them. Between plays they constantly showed people in the crowd and the band. When the band marched out onto the field they focused on my daughter and put her face on the big screen. Holy Cow. I have never seen such a big screen. Over 60 yards long. Man, do they do things big in Texas. I certainly think we start getting recruits from Texas and the southern states close by. Lots of very good football players down here. To me this game salvaged the season. We would have been cast down to the netherworld had we lost. The world of irrelevance. We were talking smack on the big screen to the recruits and we had to win this game. Now we can challenge to move up the polls as teams will start losing with regularity. We have two weeks to get ready for USC and they are in total chaos. Let's vanquish them and steal a recruit from them. Someone loyal to Kiffen that bolts for the door. We need to get back in that stadium. What an awesome awesome tool. Not even the Texas Longhorns get to play there. Isn't that sick??? Dang this game got me pumped and back into the season. I still struggle with Tommy and I think what might have been, but we should get on a roll. How serious is Grace's injury?? He was down a long time. Thank the Lord we still have two experienced inside linebackers. I say get Kendall Moore on the field. Niklas looks so awesome in person. I also saw Tyler Eifert. Notre Dame's band director greets me like an old friend and introduced his wife to my wife. My daughter is so awesome and we truly have the best band in the country. Sure wish we had a game next week. I'm ready to play.

OklahomaIrish
Grace broke his fibula and already had surgery. He's still in Texas as he can't travel yet and he's out for he season. Ouch!!!! He was down a long time. That hurts our team, but the bright side, which I always look for, is now we might get somebody else ready. It might be Kendall Moore. It might be Randolph or even Deeb. That could pay big dividends for next year when we will have the best offense we have seen in years and years. It was so awesome to watch our offensive line win this game for us. With our recruiting it is only going to get better. This year we added Stanley, Nick Martin and Elmer to the mix. That is one impressive trio that will pay dividends for several years. Next year it will be a battle to see who takes Chris Watts place. There will be at least 5 strong candidates. These guys are massive. I mean, seriously, a guy like Bivin may be relegated to second team and he is a beast. Throw in a running quarterback and we will be a dynamic run team with the ability to pass and go deep. It all comes together next year on offense. Scotty88
It was so awesome to watch our offensive line win this game for us. IMHO it was the defense that won this game, plain and simple. Lots of pressure and it's about time.
