This may be a bit much to ask, but I do not have the time or resources to fill my own request so I put it out there and hope one of you guys wouldn't mind doing this.........

What would an updated list of ND's recruites look like...broken down into four catagories:

committed

uncommitted-ND lean/favor/high intrest (whatever, you get the picture)

uncommitted-ND med/50-50/etc.

uncommitted-ND low/long shot/etc.

The ND "lean/favor/high interest" catagory would be where a "silent verb" would go such as Benn.

If anyone is interested in doing I would really be grateful, and give me/us a better idea where we stand heading into the season.

Committed:

Clausen - QB

Paskorz - LB

Nagel - LB

Kamara - WR

Ragone - TE

Nuss - OG

Neal - DE

Trattou - DE (may move to DT)

Heavy Lean - High possibility, almost locks

A. Benn - WR (silent IMO)

M. Romine - OT

* G. Tate, if offered, would pry commit on the spot. See his thread. May get baseball scholly?

Interest - 50/50 - Good chance

W. Blackwell - DT (ND v LSU)

C. Donald - LB (ND v TN, vague rumors that he may be silent to ND)

M. Wilson - LB (ND v IL)

R. Hughes - RB (ND v IL)

A. Allen - RB (ND v FL schools, TN, GA)

C. King - RB (see above)

*I think Allen and King are not quite 50-50 individually, but I think we have a 50-50 chance of getting one of them

G. Gray - CB (ND v SCar)

M. Williams - CB (ND v. scUM)

B. Martin - DE (ND v. tO$U)

E. Nwankwo - OG (ND v. FLA)

H. Smith - S (ND v. TN)

L. Edwards - LB/S (ND v. lots of people)

C. Little - OT (ND v. FL schools, GA)

M. Summers-Gavin (ND v OR, Cal...USC if offered)

G. Little - WR/LB (ND v UNC)

I. Williams - DT (ND v. FLA, SEC)

Longshot, Little/No chance

R. Miller - OT (going to CU Buffs unless drastic happenings occur)

J. Barksdale - DT (Texas, tO$U)

E. Griffen - DE (Pac-10)

R. Johnson - CB (scUM, some here feel we have legit shot, I'm not one of those people)

D. McCray - DT (FL, USC, SEC)

D. Thompson - WR (FL schools)

M. Wright - S (FL schools)

J. Smith - WR (ACC)

J.R. Hemingway - WR (scUM)

I think that we've got a chance with RoJo, Jay Smith, and Miller but maybe not quite 50/50 with each but I wouldn't consider us a longshot with them.

I thought about putting Jay Smith as medium, but I think he's a bit further down the list of options after Benn, Little.

nice job indy

I second that TD, very nice job Indy!! And thank you very much!!

Great post INDY - way to represent Fishers, IN!

nice job...I agree with almost all of that...why don't you think Ronald Johnson stands a chance to go to ND by the way?

i feel the same way.. i think he goes to Michigan unless they have another 7-5 season and we have a BCS bowl.

Short answer - Ron English

Looking at the list of 50/50's, Indy listed 16 (I think), from reading most of the posts, would you guys be confident enough to say ND will land at least 11 or 12 of those guys?

I don't think we'll land RoJo because his recruitment has been relatively quiet from ND's end (we never hear much about him), and I've been checking out some Michigan boards lately and they are all extremely confident in landing him.

Also, the surprise commitment of Dionte Allen to FSU makes RoJo even more important to Michigan, because they were very sure that they were going to land Allen as well. I think M. Williams goes to ND, RoJo to UM.

Could RoJo even get the grades to come to ND?
