ND_Clover 0
Got there butts kicked in the passing game all game....No time .....When there was time they still caused distributions batting balls....How come every time we face a team and they say a specific unit is there weakness ( Oklahoma's DL vs. Our OL ).....we make them look like All stars....As bad as Tommy's stats are for this game this one's on the O- Line... ottawand 0
I don't blame the offensive line, a lot of their pressure came from blitzes, our QB must be one of the slowest most immobile QB's ever, dosen't help the line at all. Just wish we had somebody else at QB, Rees is just terrible.
ndomer4 532
Someone was saying Heistand has a terrible resume. I say if we have to fire someone it goes to Heistand, he's done a terrible job with good players.

ND_Clover 0
Offensive line's are suppose to pick up blitz's Not QB's......Tommy is slow ....very slow...but He is what he is ....I lay the blame on the OL.....The OL not picking up blitzes caused two of the turnovers...The other one was a bad throw from Tommy.... The running game....But what about the pressure and all the batted passes....Tommy is no Everett by any means , but he can get the job done provided that everyone else does there job.... I say if we have to fire someone it goes to Heistand, he's done a terrible job with good players. We have not had a good running game since Heistand came in and switched to Zone blocking. We can put the blame on a lot of different players or coaches but Tommy is the worst QB in resent memory. And contrary to what a lot of people say, he is not very smart. He could have or should have another 4 INTs.

Please stop trying to defend Rees, the guy is freaking awful, zero athletic ability. Most QB's can make a few plays on their own, this guy can't, he continually gets exposed by teams with decent to good defenses. Kelly is as much to blame for sticking with this guy, don't get it, you need athletes at QB in the college game, all good teams have them. Jim2Dokes 3
It is funny the outs that Tommy gets. During the game Mayock was saying the coverage was great exct. The oline has been great all season allowing Tommy a lot of time. He throws over the head of receivers, doesn't step up in the pocket, and simply is not a good QB. It sucks that he's not mobile but neither are many great qbs, he has zero footwork that's the difference. Rees was simply the worst player on the field today, no excuses. Domer Dude 0
The team is not motivated because they know they don't have a leader on offense. Wish we had this O-Line next year with Golson and Malik.

Finally someone who is watching the same QB I am, I said after the Temple game he was still the same Rees but he looked even worse today. You can have all the 300 yard games against the Temples of the world you want, it means nothing to me. Today was Tommy in a nutshell. BrianKellyWasNotTheMan 12
Are O line did fine IMO, could be a lot better on blitzes but we had a great day with running. A lot of times Rees had plenty of time to throw, receiver was open but dumb throws and dumb decisions.

That's what I was trying to tell them when they made the "Tommy Torched Temple" thread, let me know when he torches a quality team. But it was mass salivation about throwing to wide open receivers, you see what happens when he has to fit balls in tight spaces 3 INT's and he should have ha 2 more. I think tommy boy is better than 2 years ago - but he is still ole tommy boy...have we ever had a period where we were stuck with such a mediocre QB FOR SO LONG? I was also one of the first ones to flip a **** when we changed OL coaches after an impressive fun offense when Wood was our #1 back two seasons ago. Did OSU take our OL coach? I'm not trying to defend Rees .......I frankly don't think he's that good of a qb ...But he is our starting QB and is capable of winning games provided everyone else is doing there job. Who else are you going to start ?......Yes Tommy over throws receivers and yes I agree Tommy doesn't have good footwork...But the bottom line is given adequate pass protection I would take Tommy over any other QB we have besides Everett.....You can't put this loss on Tommy alone.....He has no control of Offensive lineman getting pushed back and batting balls down.. Again, I ask...what option is there? (Hint: None.) Why is Hendrix a better option? Because he's not Rees? He is this team's third or FOURTH-string QB, in an ideal situation. He could be worse than Rees, and if he is, then what? Burn Malik's redshirt? Blame Golson for this. Rees is a backup QB who has to play because our starter flunked out of school. At even if he played and threw 3 picks, he still would at least keep the defense honest with his threat to run the ball. You get none of that with Tommy
