Strangely, I'm not that nervous. I feel like we're playing with house money this weekend. The pressure is definitely on Oklahoma, they have a young defense and a young QB, neither of which have ever started on the road and frankly the program has a whole over the past 4 years haven't had any big road games like this. (Keep him mind, their big rivalry game is always on neutral field.)

We're known for coming out flat in big games. Bob Stoops is NOTORIOUS for choking in big games. I think home field is the difference.

i like the way you think...i guess i can agree with that but i also think that if we lose i wont be looking forward to the next couple games...but if we WIN, then that COULD potentially propel this team into a winning streak and COULD POSSIBLY run the table and meet Stanford with a 10-1 record. Call me crazy but its starts with a WIN this weekend.

I am on board with this assessment mostly. What bothers me however is that CBK has a tendency to handcuff the offense because of what he doesn't want to happen. That seems to be a short sighted way to game plan.

This is exactly how I feel -- I was looking forward to watching this at home, but my Dad called me this morning and said he got two tickets from a friend...so my nerves have started back up.

Yes he is. He's also terrible at making half time adjustments. A perfect example is last years game in Norman. If Notre Dame can be leading or tied going into the half, then i think they'll pull out the win.
