DDers - Uncensored Thread Option?

I voted for the third "meh" option.

 

If we look at this realistically...wouldn't this kill the forum? Entirely? I mean if it's login and age verified...that would cut down on any new members. They'd look at the General Forum and find it to be a graveyard as everyone migrates over to the uncensored one.

 

I mean, I wouldn't mind the idea of it existing and if it does, it does. But think about what it would do long term. It'd essentially just become the new General but "Member's Only"

Again, age verification is only required if there is nudity. I'm simply asking for a thread that requires a screen where you have to acknowledge that you will see naughty words. That isn't required at most websites btw...

 

And if you're worried about your kids seeing bad words online, then "Amish Mafia" called and wanted you to corral your young...

Two people will argue and a mod will tell them to take it to it's designated corner or move it there themselves where it dies.

 

Most people want an audience for their fight otherwise they'd use the PM.

 

ND 12-0 last year with a trip to the championship game. Like it or not the bar has been raised and the mods are gonna have a little more work to do.

 

I don't think it will help the bickering following the games if that's what you want to tamp down.

 

I think we all need to realize no cares about our opinion as much as we think they should. Say your peace and move on.

Look, the old Harley Davidson site I used to be a mod at had a room like this for the 1%er's to bitch and argue about the weekend warriors.

 

NDNation tried it with the "Wailing Wall"

 

At first it was funny and active but they both ended up failing miserably. People bitching that they were physically threatened and it does spill over. I think someone actually tried to sue someone because of it.

 

As much as you'd like to curse someone out in a public forum so you can show the world that you can lay a rhetoric beatdown on him is at the very least childish. There are plenty of forums that allow all the cursing and in-fighting, NDN, UHND just a few.
