dangeruss
heres a rb prospect from south bend Indiana and seems like a pretty good rb prospect and I guess in his first 5 games this year he already has like 1,000 yards rushing. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/1302414/highlights/66078375
FaithInIrish Forever
Just on speed I'd take him in a heart beat. Wonder how his grades are? Edited September 25, 2013 by FaithInIrishForever

97domer
For those of you too lazy to open the link: "Notre Dame will host local running back prospect Shaq Vann on a visit this weekend after expressing some interest."
Scotty88
For those of you too lazy to open the link: sorry but given the fact local kid has not attracted IU or Purdue, not much of an eye opener good for him though. maybe this generates more interest for him. he may receive alot of attention as it isn't a big weekend for visits. OKCIrish99
Heard he's a good, strong back with great vision/production. However, his competition may be subpar to say the least. Bet we end up offering, although his offer list is not stellar.
lucid
I think Anthony Johnson was the last time my old high school had a player that was D1 quality.
WeaverIrish
Seeing as he is a 2* his senior year and his offer list isn't much, and on top of that we got a 4* and 5* last season... we are good.

coltssb
I think Anthony Johnson was the last time my old high school had a player that was D1 quality. yeah, I haven't played in over 15 years of northern Indiana high school ball, but it doesn't look like the competition has changed. TONS of little guys. Lack of speed, lack of good coaching, guys on videos give up after one hit. I mean a couple of those plays it was like he was waiting for his blocker to catch up and when he did, then the blocker was waiting to hit somebody. I'd pass personally. But hey, whatever. If he can play and BK thinks he can find a place on the roster for him. I'd be for it.
nd1baby
Well, if you were a 4 or 5 star RB, does it look like ND is the place for you?
coltssb
Well, if you were a 4 or 5 star RB, does it look like ND is the place for you? Good question. Seeing how the depth chart is, I can see how it could scare some kids. But seeing how nobody has taken charge, you might be able to jump into 1st string pretty quick. Then.......well, you look at the offensive line and wonder, are these guys opening enough holes to be successful? Then the 40 year decision. Weather, academics, women, coaching, etc etc...Glad I never had to make that choice as a 5 star kid.
