Fixed it for you...

But seriously...you think Greg Bryant signed on to play on special teams kick coverage? We blew his 5th year for this?

Cam, bless his heart, has only proven capable of not fumbling the football. There is absolutely no reason why one of the freshmen aren't getting a majority of the touches. None. Cam, Amir and George have not PROVEN that they DESERVE a majority of the snaps.

Anthony Johnson and other ND RB starters player special teams during Holtz years. Its about team. He will get his due.

Holtz ran a wishbone option attack, of course players got their due...He usually had 3 players with 600+ yards rushing... Lou had only three 1000yd rushers and just 2 players throw for over 2k...There were touches for all the backs because all we did was run.

How many times do we have to watch Cam hit a hole a second too slow or watch Amir dance around it before enough is enough?

The question isn't, did he play? The question is, will he continue to play for ND?

I fully understand kids need to pay their dues.

However, I've yet to see one run this season where a running back made me say wow. I'm sure they are all running their hardest, but sometimes a RB needs to make you say wow.

How that all pertains to Bryant, I don't know. Maybe he isn't that good, who knows. But 5* RB's are supposed to make you say wow.

I don't know....you still need to prove to me that isn't Nix.

Last year we whined about ST's and our lack of depth not allowing us to get enough 4/5*'s and starters playing ST's like Bama and other SEC schools. Now we have 5*'s like GB & MR on ST's and people are whining about burning a year. You can't have it both ways.

Championship contenders play top guys on ST's without worrying about injuries because they have depth. ST's is a good way to get game speed experience before being thrown into a starter role. Kind of like when you learn to swim really well with a kickboard and are ready to jump into the pool to swim without one. You going to jump into the shallow end or the deep end?

We have MANY starters that started out on ST's.

FWIW, if you look at the top 10 APB and top 10 RB according to 247 last season, 5 have had no carries so far this season.

Of those who have carried the ball, Bryant has the fewest carries with 3.

Ty Isaac comes next with 4. Most have between 6-18 carries.

Elliott for OSU has 21, though a 70 point win might have helped.

Clement at Wisc. has 44 carries.

Alex Collins at Arkansas is the lead back on their team with 86 carries so far.
