Parseghians theorem 0
Meatchicken playing like crap. super sloppy. only up 7-3. Gardner just threw pick in redzone. 5:24 in second quarter.

Franco 0
Yup, it looks like the typical hangover after a huge rivalry game where they threw everything they had against us
Donjuan 16
This kind of game makes me sick. Gardner played possessed against ND especially with his accuracy despite pressure all day from Nix and Tuitt. Now he's missing 10 yard targets, wide open... Go figure. BrianKellyWasNotTheMan 12
Does this make ND look horrible?
imroc 4
Does this make ND look horrible? I think the Irish did a good job of msking themselves look back. No need to give this game the credit
KellyisNasty 0
I think the Irish did a good job of msking themselves look back. No need to give this game the credit Exactly. Akron is gaining big yards on runs on first down. I don't know why its so difficult to keep doing whats working. Helps that Akrons QB can do things with his legs when everyone is covered Edited September 14, 2013 by KellyisNasty
Shamrocker 0
I can't wait for Michigan to be off our schedule for good. I'm tired of seeing us make average players look like superstars. Robinson, Mcguffie,Forcier, etc..
Parseghians theorem 0
Touchdown Akron, UP 24-21 with 4 to play. Wolverines are losing because their execution sucks today. I bet the coaches are calling the same plays they called against ND. Akron is not a better team and does not have more talent than Wolverines. And I truly believe ND is better than Michigan and we lost last week because of lack of execution (the super long TD by Michigan early in the game when we missed the guy four times), interceptions, dropped passes). Could we have called more runs? sure. but I feel like pass total was elevated because we played from behind much of the game. If we are ahead, there are probably 15 less fourth quarter passes and 15 more runs. Bringing us back to a 38 pass to 34 run ratio. lots more even, IMO. PJacksonsDred15 121
Kelly needs to take a page out of Terry Bowden's playbook. Run the ball against Michigan to set up the pass.

Parseghians theorem 0
Michigan wins. Hey, at least ND didn't lose to the team that lost to Akron at home ...
KellyisNasty 0
Shenanigans. Refs ran off 10 seconds on a 1st down. Akron should have gotten 4 plays instead of

Gardner was insane and couldn't miss against us. We didn't play terribly, we could've win the game, but Gardner just was lights out. Michigan is having a let down against Akron after playing over the heads the week before.
