Everything from Hendrix I've seen from spring until now in practice looks like he's improved tremendously. He's a far superior athlete to Rees and has a much stronger arm. The only thing I think he has trouble with is the mental part which should have come along by now being his fourth year in the program.

If he happens to come in incase of injury or poor play I still think he can give us a better chance to win.

you mean in the second half when the game is out of hand?

let's hope that is the case.

but would it then be classified as a big role if the game is no longer in doubt.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd hope the backup QB has a big role against a 30 pt dog.

Hopefully the "big role" isn't one where, instead of putting a little loft on the ball, he guns one 18 yards over the middle...to an Owl player. Hendrix is by all accounts a good kid. I'm just skeptical of his ability to run the ND offense effectively. I hope he removes all doubt by his play.

If you think he's gonna play such a big role, why don't you photoshop about it?

By the way, slacker, where are the quality wallpapers for 2013? My Surface is still rocking the NCG one...

I just finished something wicked for him. He needs to see it first before I post it here...

Will do a 2013 piece as soon as Saturday's game pics drop.

I dunno, he made some great throws in a lot of those practice vids...I understand it's practice, of course...

I hope so. Plus, the only thing more obnoxious than my gif signature being a broken link right now is the fact you have Golson in the middle of your sig. You're the sig guy from gosh sake!

I have made this point repeatedly since Golson went away--- Hendrix IMO should and likely will play a role all season and NOT as a relief guy--NOT as the guy to come in after tommy throws an INT---

Hendrix will be and should be a CHANGE OF PACE QB----he can run--he can handle the "read option"--he has the big arm that can go deep---

THATS THREE HUGE THINGS ANDREW CAN DO THAT FILLS THE HOLES IN TOMMY'S SKILL SET!

I just think its too tempting to take the pressure off of tommy--to put some pressure on opposing defenses not to get TOO COMFY scheming only against Rees----and too take away some PREDICTABILITY from our offense.

Its too good an option to resist---Michigan will likely see MORE of the Hendrix mix then temple--coach is not averse to dual QBs and he has some excellent reasons to employ that strategy this season.

Furthermore, what was our biggest pass play last season? The running QB running play-action and then a bomb to Brown. Hendrix is the best guy on the roster to do that same kind of thing.
