He came in as an EE, then left on his mission for 2 years.

He was back last year but didn't play. It was going to be his redshirt year.

So he still has 4 years of eligibility left. He has to sit out this one because he's transferring, then he'll have 3 years left at BYU.

Good luck to him.

I like the headhunter description. That was how we viewed him when he committed.

The numbers at safety are intimidating. Badger just increased his chance for playing time.

Farley, Shumate, Hardy, Redfield, Turner and Barrati all have 3 or more years of eligibility left.

Turner is apparently moving to Dog. I recall thinking he belonged there from the get go but heard others say he cannot get to 240 and maintain his athleticism. Has the assessment of his size potential changed? Do we move him back to safety? I like him better at Dog.

we need one safety this class. Ju Ju Smith would be my favorite. Payton has gotten good reviews. We need two now, don't we? We start next year with 5 unless I am missing someone.

Said Turner is cross-training at both. Still taking reps with both in practice.
