REMND
The biggest one for me from spring and fall practice is Corey Robinson. His height has been almost surpassed by his hands and ability to get to the ball from what I have been reading. I cannot think of any other player who has elevated our expectations more on the possibility to contribute significantly than him. Oh, maybe Amir Carlisle. The only thing that keeps the chatter down on his possible contribution is the injury bug. I cannot think of anyone on defense although Rochell seems to get a lot of respect. I did not anticipate that this early in his career.
OklahomaIrish
My first thought was Corey Robinson, but I have been beating that drum for a long time. I am also thrilled with the play of Nick Martin but people don't like to talk about the offensive line. Those threads die quickly. Maybe some are happy with Tommy, I certainly expect to see his best season ever. Receiving corp is going to be stellar.

They are now intrigued as well because of the potential shuffling of RG and RT. The only negative that I have read about the OL is really the experience of the skill players that they are supposed to protect. Oh, and Lombard might have challenges blocking in space. ndomer4
I'll go with Corey Robinson, you only hear great things about the kid and he's not even close to reaching his full potential yet. He's going to play a good amount this year, if tj and Daniels weren't so good and experienced then he'd probably be a starter.
IrishOrDie
Not much of a surprise, but I've liked what I've seen from TJ Jones. He's looked smooth. It seems like since the second half last year to now he's stepped up and become a leader. But as far as a real, actual surprise, gotta admit I've been impressed with Corey Robinson. I thought he would redshirt for sure or be converted to tight end, but he looks good as a WR. Also, gotta give some love to Dan Smith. He's a great blocker. VCDomer
I would say Jack Nolan and his riverting previews leading into the exceptional editing and mix of music with the fluffy clips of the camp. Hard to glean anything from the clips or the news. Game time is when I will learn anything of substance that will be either pleasant or an eye shielding surprise. lucid
By all accounts, Dick Addis was a good guy & well liked by his colleagues & friends. That said, when I was a kid, watching his weather forecasts, I couldn't shake the idea that he was a child molester. Somehow, to my child's brain, he looked like what I thought a child molester would look like.

We used to see him ALL the time at the local skating rink and there was NEVER anything inappropriate that was talked about and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
