I like GB a lot, but I still think GAIII will start. Plus, I believe that is the 2nd string GB is playing with. Prosise also looks to be playing 2nd string. Looks solid, I like this one better than yesterday. I also noticed that Hendrix is playing live (no red jersey). Seems like Kelly is serious about Hendrix being used in certain packages. Parseghians theorem 0
it was a five yard gain for bryant. am i missing something about it?
REMND 0
What do people think of Rees's throwing in this video. Accuracy was good I thought. Arm strength wasn't great but he was picking receivers who were pretty open. There was one throw when the defender closed awfully fast on an open receiver while the ball floated in just before contact. What do others think? I am getting more excited about the depth we are showing in quality receivers in practice against a pretty well respected defense.

Hopefully we won't run those patterns... otherwise pick 6.
coltssb 1,125
92 looked to be unblocked twice. Again, not enough for me to even judge how each player is doing. Onel play does not constitute a player's ability.

It did look like a deep out will be tough for him. I saw accuracy but not velocity. Conversely, Hendrix won't have that problem. His problem is that he is on the bench. Parseghians theorem 0
tommy looked fine. you are watching overhead shot. and we arent seeing it in person. the ball at :56 was a zip throw 1:03 hard accurate pass to TJ next pass KevRus closed fast but an accurate 25 yard throw. only thing here is just being aware of distance and time the ball takes to get there. all about right decisions. sometimes u have the arm strength but you make a late throw. hemdrix put nice touch on ball getting it over defender rees then throws 20 yards for a completion on the run. i do wonder. what side of the ball do u eant to see win more in scrimmage? or is more just about executing fundamentals of what will make the play successful. ndomer4 532
I like what i saw from Rees, we just all have to accept he's never going to have a rocket of an arm. He's a pretty smart quarterback, ton of experience and he'll get the job done. He's above average I'd say, I also think we're far better off at qb than a majority of teams. Yeah the Greg Bryant run was nothing special I was expecting a 20+ yarder.

Parseghians theorem 0
I don't know ... He recognized daylight and punched the gas ... Not every run is going to be a big gain. you are correct. but we can all agree hoosiers original comment was misleading on what we might have expexted to see. bryant took a handoff at the 25 (30-32 yard line original LOS?) and gained ppsitive yard (5-7). but i was expecting to see much more based on the hoosiers comments. that is all. Right. I would guess the takeaway is he has the speed to get to the edge. A slower back would have had a 2-3 yard gain.

I actually agree with this. The throw at :56 and 1:03 looked really good. I won't believe it until I see it in a game though...

hawaiiirish 62
Hendrix had a couple of very nice looking throws---he may be more of a factor then we think-- Mr #1 showed a nice burst on that little sweep--- TJ sure looks silky smooth-- aloha's

NDhoosier 1,336
The GB comment was a preemptive strike... Trust me, I am sure some would use it to say "OMG, look at GB, he is going to be the starter." You should know that was probably going to happen. No more preemptive comments, I promise. golson5 221
- Kelly will be the RB's coach til Alford comes back? - Rees' arm and mechanics are still ehh - Just a regular run by Bryant, and speed is not his forte. Everything else about him is elite except for speed - One of those unblocked plays was because heggie got thrown by Stockton
Irish 247 0
Either TJ jones or James Onuwalu throws a nice block at the end of GB's run. Knocks someone right on there a** haha. Looks like we have some good down the field blocking.
Parseghians theorem 0
Daniel Smith is by far our best blocking wide receiver. he did so many things for us last year that no one even noticed. chuck martin talked about him highly during run-game film review.
