Yeah I saw this on Sportscenter earlier. Curious about the extent of the injury for sure. Will never forget his tantrum in USC's bowl game against Georgia Tech earlier this year with Max Wittek's play. Guy is talented but his tantrum was embarrassing.

Anyone hearing anything on SC's qb situation? Wittek looked horrible in their bowl game.

A certain green and crazy USC/UCLA board is saying he'll be out for 10 weeks for a possible collarbone injury. That would place him right around the ND game if all heals quickly. (which hardly ever happens with a collarbone injury)

But, I chalk this talk up to a bunch of crazy rah-rahs. I'll wait for reliable confirmation before I believe it...

Apparently hurt his shoulder in practice yesterday. Out for practice today.

Doesn't appear to be serious, but shoulder injuries with WR tend to stick around all year.

He has to play in 2014 doesn't he? I figure he is like Tuitt he could not have declared until after his junior year.

The reason that I mention it is because most folks thought Lee and Clowney were the two best pro prospects last year. They were that good.

I've heard people (all claiming to be "insiders") on various message boards claiming everything from bruised shoulder to broken collarbone. Not in practice today:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23USC&src=hash">#USC</a> star WR Marqise Lee who left practice FRI w an apparent shoulder INJ, will NOT practice today, a source just told me.</p>— Bruce Feldman (@BFeldmanCBS) <a href="

">August 10, 2013</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

But, let's be fair. If there's one guy on that team that could recite the famous Allan Iverson "Practice" speech, it's Lee. No point in exposing your team's MVP to further damage before a single game is played. Apparently, though, they only have five scholarship WR's. Ouch. One injury, and they're digging into the practice squad for players.

If it means Kiffins job, he would play Lee even if he was wheelchair bound...

My favorite is when Kiffy sent Robert Woods onto the field after suffering, what looks obviously, a concussion

Woods was just happy he could help the team with his "block" so he decided to do a little dance, that is all that was.

Looks like lee hurt himself in practice today, diving for a ball.

#Trojans mock game today RT @insidetroy Marqise Lee dove for a ball & hurt his shoulder early in the 2nd half. Has not returned. #USC[/quote

Me thinks that shoulder injury is going to bother him all year. S

Starter still not named... quote from Lee on a BSPN article... "Dude, this is crazy," Lee said. "I'm still waiting. I don't know when coach Kiffin is going to actually decide but I hope it's Friday because that's when we start our (preparation for Hawaii). At the end of the day, I guess I'll be rolling with both until Thursday depending on when he decides."
