Yeah. He's our starting punt returner this year.
Has this already been stated? That was quick if true. Kid is 5'9", 207 lbs and has lots of "shake and bake." Him and Carlisle are going to make many defenders look just silly this year. Love the versatility of the backs this year. It is noteworthy, also, that Kelly singled out Mahone also. Possibly the forgotten one. Don't sleep on him. Love this time of year.

Agreed about Carlisle! Hearing how elusive he is and seeing that move he put on Redfield gets me excited! Folston could be great at punt return! I think Amir could be too though! It's awesome seeing these guys in action again! I can't wait until they put pads on! Just praying for an injury free camp!

Can't tell much but these are certainly fun to watch---I will say Tommy looks much thicker, Tuitt looks overwhelming , he looks more like a New York Giant then an ND player---Davaris looks like he can play some WR--

aloha's go irish!

All that and Tommy's pocket movement looked better to me I liked how his feet were operating.

how has his footwork improved? what was he doing before that was off?

I've watched a lot of film and I just saw something from that two minutes that I liked from Rees. I guess the best way to describe it was the leg movement seemed more fluid and less robotic. Now thats JUST a drill.

I hope it leads to better pocket presence. I might be full of it, we'll see.

Good stuff here. Daniels and TJ looked sharp. Love the route running. Tuitt and Nix look like monsters as usual. Greg Bryant already looks like a bad mofo. Overall, pretty encouraging video. Our front 7 is going to be very, very strong.

I have read some pretty optimistic projections on our Pass Rush this year. People have high expectations for Tuitt and Shembo. Day is mentioned as a pass rusher. Nix not so much so.

In total, people expect a lot from our pass rush this year.

One of the things I am most excited about this year is the fact that we have legit playmakers on both sides of the ball. I am talking about highlight reel playmakers. Last year we had guys that were reliable and could carry the load. I can think of only one impact play that was unreal and that was Golson to Chris Breezy.

This year we have so many players that can do remarkable things. Explosive things... Yes, I know some are freshmen and you cant count on freshmen. But imagine how exciting the offense could be if everything pans out.... gives me goosebumps.

Nix is so amazing at collapsing the pocket, even when doubled, that while he may not be a "pass rusher", he forces the opposing QB right into our oncoming pass rushers. That cannot go understated and actually may have a greater impact than say an elite pass rusher like Tuitt and Shembo.

Nix can split a double team inside if he wants to. I don't think the coaches want him doing that very often because of the scheme they like to run.
