Ohio State gets Carlos Hyde back from suspension just in time for their big-time clash against BCS powerhouse Florida A&M.
roarcity269 0
Louisville waaayyyyy overrated. Weak conference, nice win against a Florida team that didn't really feel like playing that night.
VCDomer 75
Louisville waaayyyyy overrated. Weak conference, nice win against a Florida team that didn't really feel like playing that night. Agreed. Same with Stanford in my opinion. I believe they fall back to earth. OSU at #2 is joke. Also would not be suprised to see Clemson, Louisville and South Carolina out of the Top 25 by mid season. ndomer4 532
This will all change once we actually start playing some football. It's nice to start high though so incase we lose one we still might have a title shot. I agree with Louisville and Ohio State having brutal schedules but there has to be a slipup along the way for both. Looking closely there are a few games I can see Ohio State losing but Louisville... I don't see it. When your toughest games are Kentucky and Cincinatti I just can't consider you a BCS team. Even the Boise State teams a few years back always had much tougher schedules than that and even they got knocked for it all the time. They atleast went and played Oregon, V Tech, Georgia and they won all of them. However if you don't do it on a weekly basis it's tough to guage how good of a team you are. We won't have a clue how good Louisville is until they play a superior team in a BCS game.

piratey 6
Ignoring everything pertaining to us and our opponents this season.... Is it me or is the Pac-12 super overrated? Almost half the league is ranked? Conference ranks: SEC- 6 teams ranked P12- 5 teams ranked B1G- 5 teams ranked B12- 4 teams ranked ACC- 2 teams ranked AAC- 1 team ranked MWC- 1 team ranked IND- 1 team ranked The other thing that really puzzled me is the mooks who voted for tOSU as the number 1 team, three coaches...really? I would bet the three were Urban, Flounder and Dantonio

Stanford has a solid defense and great running game, Clemson scores alot of points to make up for a not so good defense and Louisville is going to have a great season because of my Boy teddy Bridgewater, and s.carolina has connor shaw and a pretty damn good team .... all these teams Will end up in the top
hawaiiirish 62
ohio states schedule is an EMBARRASSMENT! BUFFALO/SAN DIEGO STATE/ FLORIDA A&M/ ILLINIOS/ INDIANA/ PURDUE/ IOWA/ PSU/ CAL/NORTHWESTERN/MICHIGAN/WISCONSIN--- if we had that slate 11 wins would be the baseline--- my my aloha's
Rattlesnake 54
I can't wait to see tOSU get stomped in a bowl.. or drop one to like.. Iowa.
Moslof 0
I'm pretty happy with 11. Expectations aren't too high with a top 5 start, but if we go on a roll like last year we can move up a lot quicker. Last year it took a long time to get up to a high ranking because we started so low. Overall

It was close a couple times but they managed to pull them all out.
roarcity269 0
Also, we may be talking about the wrong poll here... I know preSean's poll is pretty accurate year to year but most people follow the preseason.

There will be a new guy toting the rock with Taylor gone and Hogan is unproven. They have QB and RB questions. On D they lost a DT, Chase, and Alex. Guys will be new at spots. And Louiville being successful wont be due to an overhyped Teddy, it will be due to the crappy and pathetic schedule they play. IMHO
