BrianKellyWasNotTheMan
Haven't heard of this kid, interesting list though plenty of great offers from top teams. Looks like Rivals has him highest with a decent ranking. Overall with a bunch of scholarships this year, this pick isn't terrible for only a 3*. irishrb
Looks like a nice offer list. Hopefully Big23 is correct and it is a nice addition. Welcome.
mtl_irish03
Definition of a big skill recruit. He'll rise in the rankings, perfect fit at DE, athletic enough to get recruited by some at TE.

Awesome film. He looks a little skinny. I hope he doesn't lose his quick 1st step after he puts on weight to be able to hold the line of scrimmage. Love the way he plays down hill. Anyway, welcome to ND Grant!
REMND
This staff is oh so serious about OL and DL. The OL guys are just huge in size. The DL targets are different. They are around 6'4 and 240 to 270. More speed I suspect. Matusak, Rochelle, Trumbetti, Hayes, Blackenship and maybe Bonner at DE in the last 2 years. We still need at least one if not 2 NGs. I would be content with Holley and/or Elam. NDhoosier
Supposedly the staff really likes his athleticism and thinks he will be able to put on the weight without losing a step. Not a big name recruit, but it seems the staff is really high on him, which is fine with me. Kind of like Kizer, we wont need him on the field his freshman year, plenty of time for him to develop. Glad to have him. This probably stops the recruitment of pure DEs, except maybe Soloman Thomas (some still consider him an OLB, but it seems the staff was recruiting him for DE). Lorenzo Carter and Andrew Williams are considered OLBs. Still need a DT for this class, and hopefully Holley fills the void.

They'll probably still get big guys to stuff the run but they want third and long to be a down they win.
gmac89
He has many offers. Why only 3 stars?

They remind me of KLM types except they are starting out bigger than he was. Hopefully the 2014 guys will improve as much as KLM his HS senior year. We were all stunned at the difference between his Jr. and Sr. Film.
hawaiiirish
I like it!-- I would call Mr Blankenship a "project ahead" rather then the often used "project"---- I think a good portion of that 3 star comes from the 230 pounds----when we rate him against other recruits nationally at DE he loses a lot of ground because he simply does not have the SIZE----YET!--- What he has is SPEEEED & HEIGHT----you can't coach that or build that up-- He likely will end up a VERY QUICK 285 DE---- Staff knows what they are doing on this IMO. aloha's
jfschellcrna
had to be one of the most annoying highlight videos i've ever watched...........what's up with 3 views of the same play???
NDhoosier
had to be one of the most annoying highlight videos i've ever watched...........what's up with 3 views of the same play??? Agreed, I hate when players do that, so annoying. Another kid had like an 11 minute video but they would show the play once, then show it again in slow motion. I think I saw a total like 6 plays in an 11 minute video. Whoever advises them to do that **** needs to be fired.
