Donjuan 16
Not "Deshon," "DeShonte," "Deshawn," "Deshawty," "Deshong," or "De$hown." Just DeShone Kizer...

da coach 0
Anyone who wonders why we got hot for him and cooled on Dawkins watch the espn recruiting nation - this kid looks big, nimble, strong armed, competitive and mobile...His mechanics are a little loopy but he gets on top of the ball with a high release, could be quicker, but not bad. His body needs to develop in the weight room. If he grows into his shoulders his body type could resemble Carson Palmer or Andrew Luck. Doesn't appear to have plus athleticism, which is surprising in this offense, but I expect him to crack the top 10 in this class and to me, that's impressive enough. How does he fit at Notre Dame? Odd timing as Hendrix and Rees will both be gone when he arrives. Meaning, Malik and a potential return of EGolson are all that's in front of him and if Golson beats out Malik in his return season, it could give Kizer a year of experience and in the weight room and he may push Zaire in his second full season... However, if Golson is denied re-entry as some statement from the disciplinary boards in amgrander response to the recent spike in conduct unbecoming a Notre Dame man. Than it could open the doors to winning the job as a true freshman, or being stuck as Zaire's caddy for 3 years.

He just seemed skinny, but he moved well.
