OklahomaIrish 0
While picking up my daughter this weekend at Notre Dame we ran into Stephon Tuitt. We were at La Fortune going to Subway and my daughter said there's Stephon Tuitt. I looked up and said, "holy crap" and ran over to him while my daughter scurried in the opposite direction. She is very shy and very pretty. I went up to the big fella, introduced myself, shook his hand, and encouraged him to kick some ass this next year. He was extremely polite, called me 'sir' and had a grip of steel. You could tell his whole body was made of iron. Well, I went to sit down with my daughter and in a few minutes Stephon comes walking by and we made eye contact. I said, "Stephon, have you met my daughter Mariah"? He said, "No sir, I haven't". He then went over to her and shook her hand. They were both grinning from ear to ear but Mariah was beat red. She has learned her dad will embarrass her like the day we ran into Manti Te'o. When we went back to the girls' dorm, Mariah's friends all want me to hang around them so they can meet the players. Mariah was even happy to meet Stephon. He is a gentle giant. He is a gentleman and he is one big dude. Got to throw the football on the Notre Dame campus, bought OKCirish 'The Shirt", fed the ducks and the geese, ate at FIVE GUYS and brought my daughter home safely. I can not wait for my next trip to Notre Dame when I come with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Phillydomer 0
That's a great story, Oklahoma, thanks for sharing. It makes me happy to hear that our stars are gentlemen, because it makes it that much more rewarding to root for them on Saturdays. On that note, I didn't weigh in on the Asaph Schwapp news, but I was truly sorry to hear it. We lived in the same dorm and he too was always a really kind guy. There is nothing on this earth that makes us more proud then our children. His daughter happens to play in the Notre Dame Band. I would be excited and proud too. Don't rain on that parade. OklahomaIrish 0
Thanks guys. I have learned not to respond to the negative stuff. I won't stop sharing and I am sure you guys won't either. Just glad to be home. Sorry to hear about Asaph. I really wanted to meet Chocolate as I had a message for him from Gabe Ikard of OU. Oh well, counting my many blessings. I started talking about it last year before we played them. I had all the confidence in the world. I wouldn't sit amidst all those Sooners if I thought we were going to lose. They are having some problems on both sides of the ball, but don't expect .500 ball. They will be undefeated when we play them, because they don't play anybody.
