Big23Head 2,499
Try not to pass judgment until the full story is available. However it could be bad because ND was so high on his list and he is a great talent. Here is the link Gorman’s Nate Starks dismissed from school, won’t play for Gaels in 2013
smaster 5
Thanks, 23. I'm hoping for the best for this kid, and it would be amazing to get his talent on our field. However, after the Hood news, Starks' worst case scenario isn't that bad for ND.
Big23Head 2,499
According to the big ND sites, this doesn't look too good. Some think ND is done recruiting him, obviously nothing concrete yet

PJacksonsDred15 121
He won't be playing in the state of Nevada. Nevada high school rules say that when someone transfers from one school to another, they have to sit out an entire year. What a crock of shit. You would think kids would be free in America to play and choose any school they want to attend. Just terrible.
RocknesGhost 0
I'll bet that Bama and U$C aren't done recruiting him though...
Donjuan 16
What a crock of shit. You would think kids would be free in America to play and choose any school they want to attend. Just terrible. The problem with that is kids would jump ship at will to another 'hotter' program that might offer playing time or is closer to playing championship-caliber football. It would decimate the high school geographical system.

echo88 74
This comment makes me scratch my head. No kidding. Catholic prep schools don't exactly tolerate much misbehavior. We of all fanbases should know that. Schools Like Bama and USC will still be after him, regardless of the cause for dismissal.

And if that ends up being the case, then I would understand ND backing off.... His latest tweet reads "people will always believe the worst"....hopefully there is some room for misinterpretation... REMND 0
I would think that there would be an exception to the transfer rules to allow someone to play when they transfer under these circumstances. This may hurt ND recruiting Stark but I think we can be confident that he will have lots of opportunities at other schools even if not ND. While I like BG's commitment to privacy in these matters, I can't help but think that there is a tendency to assume the worst in such situations. After the Hood commitment, I thought we were done at RB except that you always have to keep recruiting a position in case of a change in mind. Omar Hunter is a good example. We stopped recruiting the DT (Mike Martin?) who went to Michigan after Hunter committed. Then, when Hunter switched, we were too late to get back in. Getting Folston and Bryant last year is just a great RB foundation to give us some protection from decommitments and injury going forward I think. I am of course assuming that they will be as successful as advertised.
