I would think Theo maybe... could prob be picked up at a try out
Man I hope. Sure wish both would. Cierre was sure counting on it. Our running game was darn good last year with these 2 and now they aren't getting picked. Pro sports is merciless and extraordinarily competitive.

Some team pick Cierre and another Theo!

I think Cierre's attitude will rub a lot of teams the wrong way. Also, the fact that he carried less than Theo in his final year will cost him brownie points, too.

Teams will look at Theo and say "Too slow" and that other ND runningback couldn't start over this guy? Forget it.

That said, I think Cierre still might get drafted. I HIGHLY doubt Theo will.

EDIT:

AND WHAT DO I KNOW? Literally as I hit send Detroit drafts him! HAHAHAH

Pick #199 -- same pick Tom Brady was drafted at by New England...

Our running game would have been a huge strength if Wood had returned. He was truly tired of school though. It's too bad because I think he was our best RB and would have shown that this year. He would have been better situated for the draft as well. There just comes a point where you can't handle the classroom anymore. Doesn't he have a child as well or is my recollection off there?

Man, I want to see them both go, but I don't know. Heard Cave didn't look so hot at his pro day or at the combine (one or another.) Sure hope they get nabbed though. Both will be missed next season.

Not too much difference between being a seventh round pick and being a free agent -- on one hand, you get a 5 digit signing bonus as a pick (around $37k), on the other hand you get to shop the field and maybe even pick the team you tryout for. Cierre will be in camp for somebody.

Last round and there are 48 picks in round seven this year so cross your fingers for the rest of the boys. There are 48 picks in round seven this year. After that, we can still hope for free agency and that usually starts immediately after the last pick.

Don't you think he'd have a better chance of making a final roster and being a heckuva lot more confident in his future by being drafted? His chances drop significantly to make a team if he's not drafted. I always scratched my head when some thought he'd go 3rd round. Still a chance he gets drafted but getting into the 9th inning.
