Just saw a clip on ESPN NFL Sunday Countdown that multiple teams are all over him as a free agent for next season. Apparently he ended up in the CFL this year and scouts are saying he looks like a 1st round type of talent. Too bad ND couldn't have rolled the dice on him as his brother looked good as a frosh at Oregon this year as well. If I'm remembering correctly they were a package deal, but ND couldn't medically clear Armond (at least that's how I remember it).

He had an MI associated with injectable NSAIDs...Toradol in particular.....He has/had damaged heart muscle.......i would be very surprised to see him get clearance to play in the NFL with all the other issues they are dealing with right now (eg. trama related encephalopathy)....

43 tackles and six sacks from the DT position sounds pretty good to me.

Not in the CFL...that's just over two tackles a game and 1/3 a sack a game where more than 66% of snaps are passing downs...

Guy was named an all star his rookie season while adjusting to a new league with new rules.

His team won the Grey Cup and he led the team in sacks with 6, which is an impressive sack total from the DT position. Yes there is more passing in the CFL, but this explains why is total tackles are lower than they would be in a 4 down league. The 6 sacks is still impressive because like I said, they came from the DT position which is much different than being a CFL rush end like Cam Wake.

Oh, and the guy did all this as one of the youngest players in the league...I'd say he might not be half bad...and the number of NFL teams that are interested in him would suggest the same...

From the article I saw about him, they were saying that he moved on the the NFL and was signed by the Pats, due to his exceptional season and helping his team win the Grey Cup or whatever the Canadians call their championship trophy? No offense Rocket, I just don't follow it closely and really do not know for certain.

I will trust though that Rocket knows his business, I am definitely leary of anything reported these days.
