2012 was a magical season! We had no business in that NC game. At least we weren't supposed to be but Kelly coaching, great defense and some lucky bounces made it seem like we were destined to win it all but it wasn't to be.

 

Let's look forward to 2013! We still have a great defense and Kelly is staying even turning down more money to stay. Diaco is staying and the offense can only get better! We have a diamond in the name of Kiel that is going to be proving something. Our schedule eases up quite a bit. USC and Michigan are getting weaker and we are getting stronger. THIS was always supposed to be "the" year for us to break out. I am focusing on next year now with the great memories from last year, our undefeated year!

 

We are still in good hands and things are still looking up! Let's go Irish!!!

Definitely excited for next year. The team has a lot of potential both on offense and defense. Hopefully we see stronger return units. As for the diamond....Golson is the man. He is maturing before our eyes and will be in the Heisman talk before he leaves.

I'm certainly with you Speedy. It really helps to have gotten to the title game. That will help us next year tremendously. We can be a much better team on offense. We can even get better on defense with Smith and Redfield, not to mention the freshmen that played in the defensive backfield. I hope everybody continues to come to DomerDomain during the off season as some of us, like Hawaii, like to keep studying, keep writing stories, and anticipating a great year. The bar is set very high, but we are capable.

I'm totally excited for next year. We totally overachieved this year, but we are building and improving so heck yea I'm ready for next year. Go Irish!

I'm really excited! We went 12-0 with an offense that is no where near its potential. I expect both Golson and Gunner to play next year and a much higher level of execution. D will probably fall off slightly with loss of Manti and other seniors, but I think O will help offset the drop off.

I'm already looking forward to it and wish the season started tomorrow. Regardless of the final outcome, nobody had us on the radar going into 2012. Everyone thought 2013 would be the year we made a move but I'd say 2012 put us ahead of schedule and the arrow is pointing up. Bring it on.

The main thing this year gave us and our players was the perspective on how hard the guys really need to go in the weight room.

2013 is the year on O that I wonder about the TE's stepping up. Defensively, I'm looking at the LB's. Can't wait to see how Longo's program goes seeing how we're getting so close in size and speed.

Our focus this year needs to be to develop an answer for Bama. We are getting better and the schedule is getting easier but it will be for naught if we have to face Bama again and we don't have an answer.
