Kids always say that after a phone call. Uncommitted recruits have said about ND staff and ended up committing somewhere else. Alabama is surely a contender for Vanderdoes' service, but dont make that tweet the end all be all. Recruits say that all the time after a phone call.

This guy just wants to play for number 1 doesn't he lol...commit to USC preseason number 1 then they blow and Irish are #1 so there's a decommitment and visit scheduled.....then bama whoops ass and all of the sudden roll tide......at least he wants to win

I would like to sit down with him and show Bama's losses, those that jumped early to the nfl and how they will lose to Tex A&M next year. Oh, never mind, then he would probaly commit to the Aggies.

If Vanderdoes is talking to Rumph at Bama, it's likely over. Rumph is like Alford. He's an awesome guy and a really great personality on defense. I had the pleasure of watching him coach when I was doing grad school at Memphis and working with the team. Rumph and a guy named Rick Mallory on the offensive line were two really great coaches that anyone would love to play for.
