I hate to say this but...y'all acting like some serious bitches right now. Chip Kelly just got done flirting with the NFL for like a month. Nick Saban flirts every off season. Les Miles flirted with Arkansas. Every time we're looking for a new coach, Stoops is the first name mentioned.

 

We have a good coach, he is desired by other programs and the NFL. Get used to it. Nut up. I know we're all used to coaches who's careers pretty much end after they are FIRED by ND but we have a big boy coach and a big boy coach is gonna flirt.

Jeff, I'm beginning to think that some people actually enjoy going apeshit over stuff like this. There's almost no hope for those sincere people who try to add levity to an irrational overreaction.

Last night I was watching Iowa State and they were about to knock off Kansas. I had invested an hour and a half towards this victory. 8 seconds to go, a 3 point lead and Iowa State calls time out. I'm thinking, either foul them after 5 seconds or blanket the 3 point line and don't let them shoot a 3. Well, Iowa State played man to man, had three guys inside the arc and Kansas gets off a buzzer beater and eventually won the game.

 

I get up screaming at the player that didn't guard the arc, yelling at the coach, totally upset and then I see the ticker that BK interviewed with Philly and in my kitchen, the cabinet door opens and spaghetti noodles fall all over the floor making a weird noise. This all happened in a ten second span. I freaked out and was extremely angry with Kelly. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind. I went to the computer and started the thread about firing Kelly and hiring Diaco as the head man.

 

Well, Kelly didn't mean for this story to leak. But he shouldn't have been talking to anyone before signing date. It cost us Anzalone. I don't believe his only motive is to get a pay raise for his assistants. If it were, then he is deceiving the Eagles.

 

 

I have since calmed dramatically. Took my wife to another chemo treatment today. I'm just going to let this play out and focus on the basketball. I just want this to be over, get this recruiting class in the books and know I have a great head coach, whether it be Kelly or someone else.
