Anyone else go to the Pep Rally tonight? Lou and Joe T were great. ND fans crushed Bama's in the numbers department. Bama had like 300 fans, ND had what appeared to be over 10,000 at theirs.

i think i read somewhere it was 15,000+ ND fans.. video of this anywhere?

I was there. It was great. There was far more than 15K. I have video, but I can't post until I'm back home on tues.

It would not surprise me at all if ND has more fans in south Florida and even more at the game, this being your first taste in a long while. We had more fans in the Rose Bowl against Texas, less that LSU (by a lot) in the Sugar bowl last year and I would expect a lot less this year. Fortunately the fans have little impact in games like these. There will not be enough of one teams fans on way or the other to get loud enough to impact the play.

From the pics I saw it looks like everyone is having a good time, which is really the purpose of being there.

Can your fans afford tickets working at McDonald's?

I have a video of Lou's pep rally speech and pictures. If you're interested in seeing them, let me know and I'll upload them.

I know that was tounge in cheek but if you got to the game I think you will see there is a lot of wealth among Bama fans. A lot of it old money yes, but still a lot of wealth. I am from and live in the Baltimore DC area so I am used to being around wealth but it impresses me and my wife every time we travel to Bama games, people are well dressed, classy and not what you, our the southern stereotypes, might expect. Sure we have our slobs but all fan bases do, even ND.

You weren't cut off by a white expedition with lots of ND gear on it a couple of weeks ago around geogia ave were you, there was a van with a big crimson "A" on it in front of me, I made sure to cut it off and wave my nd hat doing so, just wanted to show the love

Yes. But our slobs aren't wearing stars and bars... Listening to the Paul finebaum show doesn't help me believe the dignified and regal fan base (frankly of any SEC fan base).

Tim Brown said there were over 40,000 at the pep rally last night. Finebaum's show makes me laugh Bc it is all SEC and 90% Bama fans. I called in before the Michigan game and talked to Packer and you'd have thought they'd never heard a Notre Dame fan call in before. Of course, I predicted a 56-7 score in true chiroHomer fashion!

Y'all should never listen to FinebAum... Ever. He is just a rabble rouser and you will learn nothing of the game or the team from listening to him. I can't be any more clear on that point. Dribble, nothing more.

If your impression of our garbage comes from that show you are being mislead. More of the fans calling in are auburn fans by the way.

Not me but I was cut off on the way home from the Ravens game tonight. They started mouthing off at my wife as well. Was that you? :-P

I married an auburn girl so I constantly hear it!
