    You do know that Holtz actually did get him to commit to ND back in the day, yeah? Then got kiboshed by admissions or Randy got into some off-the-field mess. Cannot recall exactly. I still think how many more titles we coulda won with Moss. Sigh...

    puff puff pass...He ended up committed to FSU until he got booted from Free Shoes for smoking bud. It just would have ended up another chapter in Under The Tarnished Dome....

    I remember that but maybe, just maybe, the ND culture coulda kept him in line. Despite his rep, he was one of the best football players I've ever seen. EVER.

    Something happened where he couldn't come to ND (grades or off field, not sure). Holtz had a talk and got Bowden to take him and then he got caught w weed (as the legend goes) and he ended up at Marshall. What a stud though, man is he good.

    Moss commuted to ND then gets in a fight at school over a racial comment written on a desk. Not long after if I remember correctly ND admission denied Moss.
