Today's Bergen (N.J.) Record has a short profile on Don Bosco's Muhammad.

It states,"ND is very interested but the buzz is that he will pick Alabama during halftime of the US Army All-American Bowl."

Reading between the lines, this tidbit tells me he does not have the grades to qualify for ND.

Looks like we will know shortly if his ship has sailed.

Disappointed and surprised... i would have expected a student of Bosco Prep to be able to meet the minimum paperwork standards.

Best of luck to him, except when he plays the Irish of course.

It's not grades, it's test score

He isn't picking alabama, all of this came out yesterday.

FWIW some reports are indicating that it isn't a test score but a core class missing. Alquadin transferred into Bosco and a typical class taken there was excluded so he doesn't meet requirements.

just a core class that can't be picked up in Spring Semester? :-(

win some, lose some

his top 3 are not ND, U$C, and OSU. The only schools in the running are ND (his favorite, but may have test issues), Miami, and Alabama.

he may pick Miami tomorrow, but I dont think his recruitment is done tomorrow. He will visit ND and find out if he can get his issues resolved.

Redfield's top three are ND USC OSU, whoops!!
