Maybe because ESPN is the main reason the cardinal is continually overlooked. The second being they are on the west coast.. Just thought it was interesting. I was pulling for Stanford. I think they are a really good football team. I might have been one of the first idiots to share the idea that the program would fall shortly after Harbaugh's departure.

Post Sugar Bowl was the other way around - that doofus interviewing Charlie Strong & Teddy Bridgewater couldn't have been more disinterested; he'd ask a question, and then be gawking anywhere and everywhere except at the interviewee. Cripes, here's a tip - try looking at the person you're interviewing every once in awhile when they're responding, ya jackwagon.:director:

I also thought they would quickly revert to being mediocre at best after losing Luck and Harbaugh. I still think it may happen soon. There is a lot of competition for good student athletes, with ND, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern all having strong years, and Stanford gets such little fan support. I suppose it's good for our SOS for them to be good. Other than that, as long as we beat them consistently, I don't care too much about them.

I think it was more the Rose Bowl presser dude with the headset that was dictating the pace and brevity of that interview. They went right back to her after and she got a full interview right before the trophy presentation.

To bad Shaw can't control the Stanford Band...what a bunch of tools...no wonder they are banned from ND and just about every other away game. Grateful they didn't muck up the National Anthem...was stunned when I turned on the game to see them playing.

Look at Stanford's class from last year. It was stellar. I have not looked at their potential hall for this year.

Ummm...did you see their recruiting class last year? It's better than ANY class Harbaugh signed, and with Hogan returning for at least two more years, Stanford isn't going anywhere. They probably open up next season as a Top 5 team.

Classless hell raisers. They are a true anamoly considering it's Stanford but they pride themselves in trashing hotels, stadiums, insulting anyone and everyone. Total classless bunch. Don't remember how long it's been but ND designated them persona non grata awhile ago. Think of them as the Hunter S. Thompson's of the marching band world...actually that's probably an insult to good ol Hunter, may he rest in peace.
