After watching his highlights at the AAA practice, I checked out his Highlight reel and I really think this kid plays early next yr. Gets out of his break really well, and gets to the next level (speed-wise) really fast.

I think Robinson will need more time, but could be used for Jump Balls in the red zone if needed. I wouldnt be surprised if he grew into a TE.

I agree about Hunter, Ziggy. He looked very crisp running routes.

I also didn't see the explosion out of Robinson that was discussed in some of the West practice updates. They said Robinson looked outstanding. It didn't show in the video though. He looked slow in and out of his cuts to me.

BTW nice to see you posting. I didn't see too much of your posts recently.

Unfortunately Tori has gone down with what looks to bystanders as a serious injury---:(

Reported as likely a torn quad. Hopefully it is more accurate than the earlier reported left knee injury.

FWIW in my opinion Calvin Johnson always 'looks' a little slow to me. With such big bodies and long legs the taller receivers never seem like they are moving fast to me. (I have not watched the video though)

oh man, that's really unfortunate. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Where are you watching the highlights of the AAA practice?

I'm watching on Rivals. You have to search for a free one.

According to mike farrell---broken femur resulting from previous stress fracture--a rod will be put in during surgery--a few days of hospitalization will be necessary.

Anyone have experience with this type of injury??

From what I've read, a broken femur is...a really bad injury. Like, it almost sounds like (and I'm no medical expert) I'd rather blow my knee out than break my femur.

Wow. That's pretty crazy. Broken femurs are usually reserved for high velocity accidents. Depending on where the fracture is (ie not within a joint or at a tendon attachment), a broken femur is indeed a "better" injury long term than an ACL or a quad tendon.

Bones heal. That would explain the amount of pain he was in though. Poor kid

Just to be clear, a broken femur is a much more serious injury medically. But for an athlete, recovering from a broken bone can be easier and more complete than from a ligament or tendon tear.

I tore my ACL and I've never been the same since. Tori should be able to get back to his normal self as long as these 2-3 days go well.

wow, a femur??? not common that's for sure.....that'll take 6 months to heal and about 9 months to a year to get back to pre injury function.......bummer........

A real bummer that he got hurt that badly. Probably wasn't going to contribute at the slot right away, but it will set him back a bit.

Could be a good thing for him in the long term as long as his body reacts the right way, and he keeps his focus where it needs to be.

I think it is called another schollie

Really, you want to ditch the kid because he got hurt?

Did he do it running? Sounds like it but not sure. Though I still think by September he could be fine if he heals well just look at Adrain Peterson

I don't think that there is a an iota of a possibility that ND pulls the scholarship. And they should not, in my opinion.
