Looking like a back-up plan for AQM if he can't qualify academically (I know, such a jaded, cliche ND fan thing to say...)

Surprised we're recruiting so many athletic linebackers? I'm not. Our special teams coverage is going to be murderous in a couple of years.

This linebacker class might be even better than our 2011 defensive line class.

Another Texas kid. Seems like we've got our foot in the door.

It just keeps getting better.

Does anyone else get the sense that we're really sticking it to Kiffin right now?

Good for us. :horn:

I don't know what I enjoy more, ND getting all this attention from elite prospects or the fact that U$C's class is crumbling.

Can you imagine, combined with the recruiting sanctions, that they can't even fill their class?

ASK THAT QUESTION AFTER NATIONAL SINGNING DAY IS OVER

This right here...I'm so torn...hahahahaha...

If we're poaching this many USC kids, it must be true about Kiffin and the Chargers, or it's a testament to Monte's impact on defensive recruiting.

When did having 6 players in the Rivals.com top 100 (4 in the top 12 overall) become a 'crumbling' class?

USCs class is still LOADED with star power.

In fact, I would take their top heavy class over just about ANYBODY right now.

USC has lost 4 of the last 5 games. They stand a good chance to lose again today to an inferior Georgia Tech team. There is a sense of a sinking ship as the numbers are dwindling, Kiffen's future is in doubt and Farmer and others will go pro early. No way I trade classes with them. Our class covers everything, no holes and allows us to continue to get better and deeper.

Cannot wait to see if they struggle with that triple option today. Tune it.

So you would rather take a class of 14 (with 4 of the top 12 players) than a class of 24 ( with 1 top 10, 5-6 in the top 100, and other depth builders)?

Would hate to see your team compete week in and week out after 4 years of that thought process in recruiting. Oh yea, it's called USC this year...

They are just starting to feel the effects of the sanctions and next year will be worse than this year. I could see SC being a 5-7 or 6-6 team next year with the lack of depth and potentially, recruiting #s.

USC is going to have a terrible Oline the next couple years and they have done nothing in this class to help solve that problem. Max Wittick is going to be sacked 5 times a game. Their class may be talented, but it doesnt address all of their needs. I would take our overall class over theirs. Would I like to have some of their players, hell yes, but I wouldnt switch classes with them.

I like what we have going on right now. To say you would rather take a few 5 stars than an entire class makes you one of two things. 1. Bat shit crazy. 2. A genius!

It makes you USC this year, i.e. All world QB and WRs and five losses.

I'd rather build like ND and Alabama do.

Star power means prima donnas, usually, not team play. Good luck, Lane.

ND staff did not contact him but he contacted Coach Cooks to talk. Hoping Eddie and LaRue visit with him on the 25th.

AAA Bowl Top performer

3- Torrodney Prevot, Houston (Texas) Taylor- Prevot, who currently is committed to USC (considering Notre Dame and others), has an excellent frame and a very quick first step. He wasn’t dominant in every session, but certainly makes his share of plays.

hmmm, do you think that means ND is cooling on him a little bit? Or is the update simply wording it weird by making it seem like ND didnt want to talk to him.

Far from it. ND is looking at him at linebacker. He has a spot if he wants it.
