I'm very confident in ND's chances to win this game. We match up well against this Bama team and this Irish team plays well as the underdogs. Everybody thinks of Alabama as invincible, just because they have been great the last few years even though it has been proven that they are very beatable. It'll be a close game but the Irish are coming out on top. if you tell this team they won't win they will find a way to win and prove you wrong. Alabama looks great on paper but a lot of those stats are against WKU, Western Carolina, and FAU, or an LSU team with no offense. 1/7/13 is the night the SEC falls.

I approve this message. I think our Defense as seen to structures like their's in Stanford and in Michigan State, athletes like theirs, in Stanford, Oklahoma, and Michigan State

I don't know that they've played a guy as good as Eifert. I think our QB presents similiar challenges as Johnny Football, with a better arm

We spread the ball around 5 guys over 200 yards and 8 or 9 with important roles

they're yards are chunked up in a few players.

I like our chances..

Bama has to play Notre Dame caliber teams in conference week in and week out. That pounding takes a toll. The Irish wouldn't know because they are afraid to get into a conference and play in football. ND schedules who they want when they want them and they call it even. Bama doesn't have that luxury.

You'll see what SEC football is about January 7th.

No, they don't. They play a few really good teams and a lot of really bad teams.

You played three teams of substance, lost to one and needed every second to beat the other two. You missed SCar, Florida and Georgia in the regular season.

Unless of course we are saying Auburn, UTk, Mizzou Ol Miss and Arkansas are high caliber teams with their combined 8-32 SEC record. Real powerhouses right there.

You never leave the south to play. We played in Ireland, Oklahoma, California and Boston. Three different coasts and the southwest...

Wow, stated like a true SEC fan.

Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Western Carolina, and Auburn say otherwise, that is half your schedule.

Mizzou and Tennessee... lol, they are respectable, but at least 6 teams on our schedule are better.

Miss St. They are good, but they should not have been ranked that high, if at all.

LSU, Texas A&M, and Georgia are the only high quality teams you played and you went 2-1 while needing last second magical LUCKY drives to beat them.

No offense, but when you bring up the schedule it makes you look like you aren't an informed fan. The top end of your schedule is similar to our Oklahoma, USC, Stanford, but the bottom end is rediculous. As Barry Switzer once said, you schedule national titles.

Afraid!!! You get a phat Com'on man...Tennessee, Auburn, ole miss, FL Atlantic, WCU, Western Kentucky. Let it go man.

This was a fun thread to read. I'm waiting to see what rebuttal the Bama fan can come up with. Bama fan, that means your response to support your we play tougher teams in SEC play "week in and week out" argument.

Bama played WCU, WKU, and FAU out of conference and Auburn and Arkansas in conference.

and ND is afaraid? that's as far from the truth as it gets.

Can't wait for these redneck to get ass whipped next week.

I like your subject verb agreement in this post. Yet, I'm the ignorant redneck.

I guess you're right. Bama hasn't played anyone. That will still be the case after January 7th.

Excuse my qwerty skills...:-?

Here is what SEC football is about. 6-1-1. 6 division games, 1 cross-rival game (Tennessee, for you folk), and 1 random cross-division game. You are in a 14-team league, and you play 8 conference games. Play 9. It's that simple. Play 9 conference games. The Pac-12 does.

Of course, that will never happen. Plus, ask Les Miles how he feels about playing Florida every year while you guys get that gawd-awful orange mess down in Knoxville every season.

I love how the SEC folks embrace TA&M now, like some prodigal son. If A&M weren't unlucky enough to draw Florida as their random cross-division game, maybe Bama is playing the Chik-fil-a bowl.

I see Bama as an uninformed fan that does not know much about ND football sticking up for his team, I don't really think he's a troll imo.

He's going to a forum that is exclusively for the team his squad is playing and picking fights and he's not a troll?
