Awful. I'll post it when ESPN does. But yeah, we got shit on for 30 minutes. All negatives, no mention of highlights. No mention of beating Oklahoma, USC and Te'o's name was never uttered. A complete disgrace and only further adds to the fuel that ESPN hates ND

We were Racist when we hired a black coach because it took too long----we were racist when we fired the black coach because it didn't take long enough-----

That was a HATCHET JOB then i defy anyone to find something similar on espn regarding any one of the nations fine institutions and uber-ethical football programs---

We are ARRONGANT & INCOMPETENT--- Kelly was accused of having personal behavior problems over & over, yet not mentioned as the coach of the year---IT WAS AMAZING__Inuendo--Thick inuendo implied Kelly guilty of negligent homicide in the sullivan case--- scandalous in spirit no doubt

Truly that was BEYOND BELIEF IN BOTH TONE & SUBSTANCE___

#1 Graduation rate

Recruiting top kids despite the standards & academic requiremnets

3 BCS appearances in the last 8 years--doing it the right way

The current #1 Team---FORGET ALL THAT FOLKS

This was a final grasp at a cathartic release of pent up ND SUCKS for Wilbon---

After we dispatch alabama---there won't be any more opportunities to revisit all the OLD STANDARDS----

I pity the fools

aloha's go irish!

I recorded it and sat down to watch it and was disappointed from the beginning. I never watch ESPN anymore. I watched this because it was about ND. This reaffirmed why I don't watch this channel anymore. I understand it can't be all sugar and plum drops but they should have at least covered some of the good parts of the last 12 years. If I didn't know better,I would think that we are a bunch of racist killers that throw our students into dangerous situations for the school. I immediately deleted the show after watching it. That will teach me to have any faith in ESPN in being impartial.

Pretty accurate snapshot of the sh!tshow that was Notre Dame football the last twelve years...

Those were my thoughts exactly.

word to the wise....if you listen to anyone talk about football who is not a former player or coach....they're usually spilling a river of BS out of their mouth....I hate any show where reporters/colomunists give their inputs....I'll listen to Herbe and company because they at least have game experience and have been in the players positions....they know how to break down film and what players are supposed to do.....do I always agree with their opinions...No....but they do have a college/NFL degree in football while I only have a HS one

sans.... Pollack and Desmond

Except for the part where Wilbon called Notre Dame racist. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say "part"? I meant to say the whole first half of the show where Wilbon called Notre Dame racist! I have thick skin but I also think that people should be held accountable for what they say. Wilbon called the Notre Dame community racist for not hiring Willingham instead of O'Leary, gave them no credit to ND when they did hire Willingham while also standing by his initial comments, called them racist for firing Willingham, and then again called them racist for not holding Weis to the same standards that he perceived them to hold Willingham to. He said all these things without a shred of evidence. That's despicable in my opinion. I know that Wilbon's comments are hogwash but at the same time I also realize that ESPN has a huge audience and they are grossly misrepresenting Notre Dame. There are probably a lot of folks out there who take what Wilbon says at face value because he works for the biggest network in sports. I can't believe that anybody that knows what Notre Dame is about would characterize that as an "accurate snapshot" of the last 12 years.

And that perceived notion of racism can be used as a recruiting tool against us....

lol first Wilbon says ND is racist so they wont hire a black coach, then they are racist for firing him. How many black coaches has ESPN's precious SEC hired?

Ty sucks. I don't give a crap if he's purple. He sucks.

I can't believe that anybody that knows what Notre Dame is about would characterize that as an "accurate snapshot" of the last 12 years.

Everything that was discussed happened at Notre Dame. It's been a frustrating, crazy ride for the last twelve years. If some television personality wants to label Notre Dame as racist, let him. It does not bother me in the least...because I know it's not true.

Me? Watching Wilbon spew off and seeing 2002 on the screen was laughable to me... Has this conversation happened in the 80's...70's...or 60's...it might have flown with me.

So I chalked it up to one crazy loon's obviously incorrect opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

Of course you know Wilbon is cut from the same mold as Cowturd and Mark May and other ANALysts who render opinions that are designed to get reactions and thus viewers. As a loyal ND fan since the 1970's, I will defend ND against all haters. However, I do believe that there is some credibility to his assertion that Willingham was handled differently from start to finish and that it very likely could have had to do with his race. After dangling the job out there for many other white coaches who declined, then taking O'leary without interviewing Tye and then hiring Tye in the face of the criticism about not interviewing him...... hmmmmmm. Dont get me wrong, I didnt like Tye and his coaching style, his recruiting, etc. Follow all that up with extending CW for 10years after one year? I cant say with any confidence the powers that be and who were in charge then knew what the hell they were doing. It seems they had a mold that they were trying to fit a coach into.

I won't. I care about Notre Dame. I don't care what others think or say about Notre Dame.

I think it was interesting to see our history and see how far we've come.

I think the disconnect that people have, is that they wanted a story of redemption, instead the story kinda ended as if it was still last season.

It was either lazy or calculated, but it definitely needed a part 4.

Absolutely.

And nothing will vindicate the transgressions of the past like an immortal pic of Kelly hoisting a crystal football in a snow of confetti.

LOL.... I have this vision of you sitting in front of a dried up Christmas tree with the ornaments on the ground, a bottle of Jack Daniels in one hand and the other one flipping off the little kids as they walk down the street. Just kidding... I must say that I wish I didn't care what the haters say about ND. I have always been a bit too sensitive about it I guess. Good for you though. Now go get a decent tree and some new ornaments!

"I won't. I care about Notre Dame. I don't care about what others think or say about Notre Dame."

That's nice but unfortunately, what others think and say about Notre Dame can affect Notre Dame and hurt Notre Dame. So, if you care about Notre Dame, it would behoove you to defend Notre Dame against ugly accusations.

Charlie Weis had quite a different resume than Ty, did he not? He came in with two Super Bowl rings as the offensive coordinator of one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history. Ty was not ND's first choice. And guess what? Notre Dame was right! He was not a good coach! I think if Ty had come in with two Super Bowl rings he would have been treated much differently than he was. However, the reality is he never had the ability to be the coach that Notre Dame wanted and that is why he was last seen as an assistant golf coach. And none of those things have to do with race.

And my bad...Charlie had three rings, not two.:frusty:
