We have Jay Hayes committed for next season already...so that's a start

Jackie Chiles has it right! There's always a possibility that BTK pulls another rabbit out of his hat but that won't be before the Title game

I'd be surprised if this isn't how we finish. Add in a potential wildcard like smythe, Hollins or Juwaan Williams.

I don't know how it will end up, but I think we get three more, all highly rated. However, it may include names not in the mix yet.

 

I think ND is on the upswing as far as recruits go, including seniors, and our staff knows it. So the rumors of increased interest in certain players I think is just that. We're going back to recruits that previously removed us and may possibly now be interested. So I think there's alot of movement right now for us, and more so than other teams because of the dramatic season that we had.

 

We'll see. Going to be an exciting finish.

Echo--from what i understand Alexander is NO LONGER a possibility so he's not on the list---but i added Durham Smythe --long shot TE schollie, unlikely, but possible--

If we get Redfield, I think Vanderdoes will follow. He wants to win. We beat USC this year, we will be a better team next year. Our defense is much better then USC"s. If he indeed does take his visit we will get him.

Too many moving parts to assess how that pecking order would go and when those spots would be available, and I tend to emphasize "who is most likely to come" over who the staff would want the most, but that is how I see it today.

I think the guy is refering to No. 67: Kevin Carr, DE | 6-7, 325 | junior (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) who is on the current roster. He is listed as a DE and this would not replaced a guy lilke Nix or even necessarily help on first team (you never know though).

6'7" 325 .....Sounds a lot like a offensive tackle to me .What is this kid playing DT or DE for anyway?

Sebastian LaRue has confirmed his visit on january 26th--he will be here with Lauderdale---two similar speedy WRs--have to think if those visits happen the odds are high we will take a commit from one or the other.
