It is nuts !! We will be telling our kids about this guy. He is a absolute stud and I hope he goes to a good NFL team. PLEASE no, Dallas, KC, New England, Cleveland, Jets, Detroit, Jacksonville. Please thx

I'm glad I get to tell my kid about him now! My 8 y/o has been watching this fantastic season with me and he loves Manti, probably because I've shouted his name a lot this year among other things lol. Last night he said something to the effect of "Manti Te'o is the best ever, he can't be beaten at all. He wins everything." I was so proud. I really need to get a #5 jersey for him sometime. Last year when I got on campus for the Navy game I could only get one jersey, a green #3 Montana, Floyd, etc, but I had a hard time passing on #5.

BTW, I don't want to sound creepy or anything and am actually kind of weirded out by mentioning this....but I've been having dreams of Manti. I swear to God I've never dreamed of any player before from anywhere. But these dreams consist of meeting and hanging out with Manti and telling him my appreciation of what a good player and human being he is. Most of the time my son is with me in the dreams and I introduce him to Manti, and we just talk football, life, and ND. Just kind of weird.

I wonder if losing the Heisman is all part of the plan. His teammates seem ready to bash through a brick wall to avenge this injustice. lol

I've watched him play in person from when he was at Kahuku. I've never seen a more ferocious kid on the field and such a great person off. Many became Manti fans through Notre Dame but I became a Notre Dame fan through Manti. When his aunt told me that he was going to ND back in 2008, I started looking for ND football forums. I ended up reading this one daily for some time now. Sometimes I see a bit of arguing here but this place is still the best forum in my eyes. What little bickering there is I simply assume its the passion you all have for ND and sometimes, as with this Heisman drama, you just have to let people say how they feel about the disappointment.

I'm glad you were able to experience the power of Manti like I have before he even came to ND. A young man that reminds us of our humanity, that there are more important things in life than money, fame and football. He was an example to other players that you don't have to learn from mistakes if you choose whats right in the first place. I'm only disappointed that he wasn't able to spread the "ohana" message even further by winning the Heisman. I hope ND wins the NC because Manti deserves it along with Notre Dame for doing it the right way.

Manti has shown the US the power of the Polynesian spirit. Power, Family and Love.

Welcome Brother.

Teams that will target Manti and projected pick:

Eagles: 4

Panthers: 5

Titans: 7 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (my team)

Lions: 8 Where I think he will go

Chargers: 9

Browns: 10

If he drops farther...I'll turn it off and laugh....and if he goes to the Titans (they need a pass rusher unfortunately) I'm buying season tickets

Panthers drafted Keuchly. Doubt they target a MLB. KC fans however, are begging for a MLB of character to heal their wounds(in fact, most are calling for only Teo if Geno is not available). Probably not surprised to see him there.

Kinda funny that Brady Quinn holds the keys to Manti's future. Maybe not. Maybe its fate. Not question that shnit anymore. rofl. God has a plan that laughs at us all for assuming.

Here's a graphic I did to commemorate his achievements. NOW there's a spot for one more:

I'll be an instant fan of whoever drafts Manti. Even if it's the Cowboys or Raiders. It would be sick if my Browns got him, but like I said, wherever Manti goes I will be an instant fan of and root for.

the thing about it is at a position that doesn't get drafted very high....how high will a team be willing to take him...he's a 3 down LB at the next level IMO and those are pretty rare these days...So i could easily see with his intangibles he can be a top 5 pick...with his talent he can be a top 10 pick...with his position he's looking at early-mid first round....

So I'll set a ceiling of #3 and a floor of #13....CMON TITANS...THROW SOME GAMES (and don't draft the German guy Bjoern Werner I think is who they love)

I'd be happy if the Chargers or Bears got him. I was a big Seau fan growing up, and I think Te'o could have a similar impact here in San Diego not only on the field but off the field as well.

Smith is ruining the team. I would hate to see him go to the Chargers after how they treated Seau, Tomlinson, Sproles, and Brees. Love the Chargers, don't love the management or the coach. Or the Chargers right now.

However, he would be a great boost to that community. That is a great area down there around the stadium.

Can someone photoshop Manti in a Bears uniform? :-P

Yeah yeah yeah, what he said. DA BEARS!!!

Mind if I share this on FB?

Well, yes, this is assuming that Smith and Norv are gone after this season. :-P

So...you like the cheerleaders? :)
