While I don't think this kid is a absolute 5-star he is damn good and he comes from a great location playing damn good completion. Hell, the story itself is worth celebrating, like Katz said. Good stuff.

Monster pick up....

What was the old adage? Win and they will come?

Yup, I remember people were saying Will Mahone was like Jonas Gray with more quickness and top end speed.

I think we'll have Will Mahone as the powerback, Carlisle as the all-rounder, and GA3 as the homerun hitter

Yeah, don't forget about big Will Mahone. Kid was getting compared to Jonas Gray. Still excited to see what he can do.

BUT, without a doubt, landing Bryant is HUGE. This class is just making me giddy and I know I'm not the only one.

Now lock up AQM, Folston, and Redfield.

If we get those three, ND will have the #1 rated class for sure

I hope he stays on board as he has a lot of suiters. When you talk about USC they have elite but we have great and depth which is what killed them last year.

How is he not an absolute 5-star? He has offers from literally EVERYONE. Kid is a true stud.

True but he is a 4-star on ESPN, even though they rank him as the #2 RB...

I just think, watching his film, that he is very good, not great. But it is a great catch for a number of reasons, as I said...

saw this post somewhere else, can some clear it up for me please...

"He carries a 3.5 GPA which is not Academic eligible to go to ND. ND requires a min of a 3.7, top 10 in your class, with outstanding commitment to your community with recognition. He may not be dumb but he does not meet ND's prestigious academic requirements."

You're an absolute idiot who spent the last few years promoting Rivals as THE only reputable site. You also went on and on about the necessity of 5 star talent and championships. Try this out...STFU for a bit and celebrate.

I'm assuming that's for non-athletes.

So it is someone's understanding that every player on our team held a 3.7, was top 10, and volunteered? Lol. Wow.

Suhoney, wherever you got this quote, I hope you didn't pay for a membership. :)

You're right, of course. This GPA requirement does NOT apply to athletes, so it's a non-issue. If this did apply to ND athletes, we'd be in the Ivy league...at the bottom in wins.

I'll take the #1 back in Florida any day. He's a stud.

Wow...I think your point could have been made without the personal attacks.

as others have already said, that is only for non-athletes. The minimum for ND athletes is 2.5, so Bryant is very solid when it comes to academics. Wherever you got that, stop following them, they dont know what they are talking about.

Yes. I lost it there. Sorry BI.
