    could you be a second set of eyes for me Big23Head. I double checked these the other night believe they are correct

     

    Yes it's correct. The updates on recruits listed the UA game as Jan. 5th but it is wrong.

    I love the fact that we have 7 commits in the US Army All American Bowl along with two major remaining targets in AQM and Vanderdoes. Hopefully some of our commits can build some quality relationships with those 2 remaining studs.

    This is a huge opportunity for us. In fact, I think we get all 9 of these guys. They will hang out together and want to play ball together. They see the possibility of national titles.

    If we get Folston, AND Redfield, AND AQM, AND Vanderdoes... are you saying we bump out a 5th year? Just curious about your #'s crunch.

    ^ Yes, unless a medical hardship or transfer happens. 7 spots left... Most seem to think four 5th year will be back: Martin, Watt, Fox, and Calabrese. That leaves only 3 spots for recruits; a 4th recruit would eliminate one of the 5th years.

    I think if that we're the case, considering who you listed there, you would have to say goodbye to Carlo. You just cannot pass up 4 years of those kind of high-level recruits. Just can't. And I understand BK is a "win now" guy...

    2)--Although it is obviously possible we get all 4 commits--we may just be getting greedy and could easily miss on one or even two of those.

     

    Its also interesting to ponder that if we get three (NOT FOUR) by the 15th will we still let LaRue & Lauderdale visit late with an eye toward replacing a 5th year with another potential playmaker on offense.

    It's true we could miss out. I still think Eddie is a long-shot but I feel great about Forston and Redfield. I think AQM is hard to read now. And you bring up a good point about the late visit possibilities, Hawaii...most interesting finish to a recruiting season since the Manti recruitment!

    Slaughter is not calculated in the numbers. If he comes back, the number changes to 6. I dont expect him back to be honest. That would really mess up some of the numbers though.

    Isaac Rochell is currently playing in the Offense-Defense All-American game.. He's on the "American" team, and is playing left defensive end right now. It's currently airing on Comcast Sports-Net for anyone interested!

     

     

    UPDATE: Danny Mattingly is also playing in the game right now. He's #4 for the "American" team.. not standing out as of right now..

    Some of these kids dont really think how their antics will play out on camera... They think it up and believe it will be cool or whatever they are going for and it just comes off... bad.
